We went during a busy time on Saturday night, yet were seated fairly promptly. The waitress kindly gave us a choice between the... two remaining tables. We chose the one overlooking the moored boats and the view was lovely. Before we were seated thewaitress took great pains to really disinfect the table and chairs, which we really appreciated. We enjoyed our drinks and ourdelicious. One was fish and chips and was aquite a healthy portion. The other consisted of two lobster tales with basmati riceand veggies. We really liked that the service was not rushed and very courteous, even with our imperfect French (plus theyspoke some English). The owner also spoke briefly with us. Simply Wow! First of all, the view was fantastic. It's on the pier, and the sight is breathtaking. I went there for the first... time close to sundown, and it was magnificent. Then, I ordered the fish n chips and it was delicious. The portion was big andvery filling. The flavor was perfect; I am very satisfied with what I received. Furthermore, the service was extremely courteousand everyone was so welcoming. The cook, and owner, even came out smiling to talk to us. All in all, it was a charmingexperience, and a memorable time I had. I will most definitely come back. Sadly, the only downside is that this restaurant onlyopens during the summer, I believe. Well.. the food wasn't worth the wait. As far as the view of the river while eating dinner goes... 5 stars... BUT everything... else was extreamly unsatisfactory. The meals were plated very poorly and the meal was bland and over priced. I had fish andchips for 30 bucks and I could have had better with a fillet o fish from Ronnie's. Our group was large 22 but we called a weekin advance. Most people were done eating, including other diners, before my food arrived. One person at my table had a meal infront of her for 5 minutes before the rest of her table mates received their food. The gathering was to celebrate a birthdayand the menu was designed for us - a selection of meals. Sadly the first thing on it was sold out prior to ourarrival. Conclusion: the idea of the restaurant is good. The chef and the wait staff need to learn more about the restaurantbusiness and the proper way to serve over priced food. Read more
A wonderful restaurant with great seafood. The place is a gem since the local area does not have very many places for fine... dining. Great view of the St. Lawrence River if you eat outside on the patio. Read more
Looking forward to being back this summer. This place is totally enchanting and peaceful. The restaurant is owned by an amazing... couple ! The chief is so flexible with his menu; also innovative with the fresh herbs, presentation and easy to talk to. Allyou got to do is ask, and if he can accommodate you, he'll be happy to. Main courses are creamy (sauces), not my like but still good. Cake for dessert is too sweet, but fits well with coffee or tea.... Soup as starter is 100% my favorite in this meal. Nice atmosphere, i would still give it 4 stars even though food is not mytaste. Will take someone who never come here before to eat but not my choice if coming myself again. Read more
