Came here for brunch on a Saturday. There's a parking lot for cars, and posts to tie horses up. There was a 30 minutes wait, but... it didn't feel long at all because there's a shaded area to sit and order drinks. I received a text and a call when a table wasavailable. I like the large outdoor seating area with tables and umbrellas. The tables were mostly filled with people, and theatmosphere was pretty chilled. The service was great. Ordered the Chili Cheese Smothered Dog, Wunderdog with tomato jam, andGiant Wunderbar Pretzel. I had the Slow Smoked Pork Sandwich with added avocado and fries, which tasted so good! Read more

Wonderful, historical, rustic, country, woody, charming or simply awesome place to have a meal day or night in Portola Valley... near Stanford. Serving yummy Silicon Valley appetites at non-Silicon Valley prices. Burgers, pizzas, tacos, garlic fries...Families and non-humans are welcome. Did I mention it's beer friendly? It is. Don't worry if parking is full or there arelineups, as turnover is pretty fast. To order just scan the QR code that's on your table, select items, register, enter payment, then it very easy and convenient after that. They'll deliver your order in a few mins. Love this place. Beautiful outdoor seating with great ambiance. Sadly, not a family-friendly place for infants and toddlers—no high chairs... available. Even though it was busy, felt like quick seating & service. Mobile menu & ordering. Several vegetarian options. Gotthe Bob Ross pizza, pesto fries, & elote. Pizza & fries were good; but would definitely skip the (disappointing) cold corn nexttime. Many pros and a few cons. Overall, delicious & fast. Would love to return again. Read more

Came on a Sunday morning after a hike in the area so we were super hungry. It was our first time here since the remodel and we... were impressed. The expanded parking is great as the place was packed! The parking attendants directing people to spots were anice touch. We were seated without a wait, but we had a smaller group and we got there shortly after they opened. There were alot of folks there already and more coming, so the two hour time limit definitely makes sense. The online ordering wasconvenient and there were people floating by that were super helpful for ice tea refills and take out boxes for leftovers. Foodwas tasty with some good options for sharing. It is an outdoor restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere in the mountains. It's a place with a long history. It has a long history... as a beer garden close to Stanford University, but the facility is remodeled so it is pleasant. The indoor seating is verysmall and the outdoor garden seating is spacious. The burgers are very tasty. French fries, craft beer, craft hamburger, andpizza were all delicious. We plan to visit again when the weather is nice. However, parking is difficult as it is a popularspot. Read more

They have a great atmosphere and food. It's both kids and kid friendly. It would be nice if they had high chairs though. Their... brussel sprouts are the best I've had. The tri tip sandwich was great. Their pork tacos are very good too. I got their Germanbeer on tap which was great. We got our daughter the chicken strips and they were very tender ???? Read more

While the burgers were cooked to perfection, and the pizza was excellent. I would recommend bringing kids as they would enjoy... the out of the park outdoor scene. This is a great place to stop from an exhausting hike. Read more
