We usually get take out and have been happy with the service and how quick it is. The food is always prepared the way we like... it. I especially like how they put the french fries in a separate container for take out. We ended up at Applebees because the wait at a nearby steakhouse was ?15-50 minutes? On a Saturday at 4pm. At Applebees they... quoted us 20 minutes for a table of 5 and were accurate and fair with their seating. The Happy Hour menu was in effect even onSaturday to my surprise, and they had a number of very affordable deals (2 entrees plus an app for $25/30 with a $1 buffalo wingupgrade option) which we ended up choosing. The food arrived in a timely fashion and everything came as we asked and wasdelicious. My only negative was I had a water and they didn?t inquire about refills, but I was at the back of our booth so Iwouldn?t mark too much off for that. The manager allows a woman who obviously has special needs to host. Unfortunately, that doesn't give someone a right to be... rude. She yelled at my friend (yelled loud enough so that people turned) and said, " I said wait a few minutes,".when my friendwas just talking to me and we both were waiting patiently. This happened last visit and my friend wouldn't stay. Today, afterconvincing my friend to offer a consideration the woman says wait (there were many open tables and the same hostess proceeds tosweep and clean) 10 minutes later we sat ourselves. I did speak with the manager last time. My friend no longer wants to comehere. I think it's wonderful that Applebee's offers jobs to those with disabilities, but perhaps, she lacks the understandingthat one doesn't yell. Perhaps hosting might not be the place. Read more
What happened to this place? I recall fondly the joy I felt as a child being taken out to the neighborhood bar and grill. There... was always an atmosphere of jovial warmth. And sides. There used to be sides. I ordered a half rack of ribs to treat myselfafter a hard day of manual labor, expecting perhaps some mashed potatoes or maybe broccoli to accompany a the lump of meat thatstruggled to call itself baby-back. Instead a handful of fries sat in the place of these health alternatives. Fries. I ate them.They were alright. Simply understand that if you choose to eat here, all dishes are served with a side of disappointment. Read more
I was truly surprised and very pleased with the service, atmosphere, quality of the food and the price. Only the second time at... Applebee's for me and a much better experience than my first visit (at a different location) which caused me not to return for acouple of years. Yep, I will definitely be going back, the Whisky Burger is insanely good! Read more
Typical Applebee's. Classic American family cuisine a step above chili's and olive garden. Good drinks in large portions. All in... all, a fun late night shot with friends for a decent meal at a great price Read more
I do love me some 'Bees! Honestly though, I never used to like the Bees. I've had bad experiences before but this one changed... all that. Everything was very fresh and the manager was walking around talking to everyone and running food. The bartender wasfriendly and I wasn't going to drink but he was so damn friendly that I felt like I should...so I did. I also continued to drinkthe rest of the night, don't judge, nobody likes a judgy person. So yeah, awesome 'Bees, better than all the others. I shouldprobably talk about the food since this is a review. Pretzel Bites with Cheese dipping = amazing and buffalo chicken wings weregood too. For what we were looking for today, this was perfect. A meal on the lighter side, not fancy, but a great time. We had excellent... service, a beautiful lady (forgot her name). She did a fantastic job serving all 22 of us. Read more
