Fantastic experience: great classical French food in a comfortable setting with gracious hosts. We love Stephan's specialty -... stylish potato pie wedges that complement dishes. This was such a wonderful dining experience! The atmosphere was so cozy! Our waitress was fabulous and helped us make Awesome... choices. The chef prepared our filet and salmon with scallops the way that we like it! You can tell there's a gifted chefpreparing the meals, the pastries the desserts, all the spices blended so well together. Truly amazing! One of the best mealswe've ever had! Read more
Very delicious food. The duck was cooked perfectly and was so full of flavor and very juicy. The goat cheese chicken in phillo... dough was unique and had a great flavor also. Perfect place for a romantic, cozy date night. We had made a reservation and were seated promptly. We each ordered the steak... au poivre and it was perfectly prepared, very delicious! The potato pancake which was one of the side options was so good. Thecreme brulee and profiterole dessert we're a perfect ending to a nice dinner. Service was friendly and attentive, atmosphere isinviting and quaint. Would recommend and will return again. Read more
First time to this restaurant. Dinner for 3. Unfortunately, the cuisine was disappointing. The appetisor portobello mushroom... with crab and lobster lacked flavor. The bread basket was nice. The turkey entree was dry. The potato cake was OK. For dessert,the chocolate flourless cake was tasteless and inedible. We had a great time because our company was sensational. Yet,disappointingly the cuisine was way off the mark. Not traditional French cuisine. Wine list extensive. The service OK. As weleft the restaurant, (2nd last table to leave) we noted that the server did not thank us or bid us farewell as we walked towardthe exit. We left a $40 gratuity on our $209 tab. I would not rush back to this restaurant. Hence the 3 stars. They can do somuch better and I believe that they may well know this to be true. I feel that Bridge Street Bistro has seen better days.
