Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 The only low mark is due to a lack of music which was not noticeable when the restaurant... was full, but as people started to leave we quickly felt like the loudest table in the room - which we were! - but a good levelof music would've diluted that feeling. That is such a picky thing overall though that it certainly didn't dilute the fullexperience! The service was perfect - they payed close attention without being overbearing. Fantastic cocktails and excellentwine selection with expert guidance. The food was flawless. Black and Bleu mussels were something I'd never had before -excellent. We had vegans in our group who found plenty of options. The lasagna could feed you for a week! The seafood, as alwaysin Portsmouth, was fresh and delicious. I would recommend to others and come back myself! An accessible 'fine dining'experience. Overall 5 stars. Read more
Food was good but the service was horrendous Our waitress would come back every 10 or 15 minutes and ask if we needed anything,... to which we would tell her the same exact things we wanted. It took 6 times to get a box. I wanted to take my boyfriend out fora nice dinner, but it turned into a two hour disaster. Not planning to return. Read more
We had a reservation and was seated right away. The wine and beer was perfect and the food we picked our go to veal and eggplant... Parm with pasta was great. Service was great and it was a busy Friday night. I would go again for sure. Read more
Trying to find a restaurant in Portsmouth on a Saturday without reservations can be, difficult to say the least. I went in and... inquired about patio seating. I was told by the friendly hostess that it would be a small wait and took my number. We wentnext door and had enough time to have a drink before my phone rang telling me the table was ready. Let me tell you ot was worththe short wait. The Bolonages was epic! We ordered that and the delicious short rib and couldn't finish. I gladly took home therest and am dreaming of finishing them later. 7 out of 5 stars. Our server was very good and even though it was busy my wife andI felt like we were treated like royalty. I highly recommend for a romantic date night or if you want food that is good for yoursoul. Read more
The nicest staff you will ever meet! Accomadated us on a busy Friday without a reservation, and went out of their way to make us... feel welcomed. They were amazing with my 4 yr old son, especially for a restaurant that doesn't normally have many kids. Thefood was amazing per usual. Read more
Tonight?s meal & experience were wonderful! Always enjoy the food, and so happy to see the place full again. I also want to... thank the hostess Katherine who helped me when I fell as I entered the business. She was wonderful with me! Also, the otherhostess came by later to ask me if I needed some Advil.
