The restaurant is located in a former library and they kept the library atmosphere with book stacks here and there. The tables... are well spaced out and I felt pretty safe eating there not feeling strangers were sharing their germs with me. The staff wassuper attentive and pleasant. A5 wagyu appetizer was amazing, so soft and flavorful, it exceeded my expectations. Wagyu stripsteak was good, perfectly prepared medium rare but just good, not significantly different from your typical steak. I wish therestaurant had A5 wagyu as an entre. That was a memorable dish. French onion soup was a bit weak and thin, not the best versionof the soup. Accessibility note: the bathrooms are down two flights of stairs. However, upon request there is a bathroom on thefirst floor but one needs to be escorted to be taken there. Read more

A bit disappointing for the price point. The service was very slow and the food was hit or miss. The steak was delicious but the... “lobster” Mac and cheese was soupy and lacking lobster considering the $18 price tag. The ambiance is really cool butoverall I would say not worth the cost. Read more

My wife and I went for dinner. We ordered a appetizer which was good. However the steaks we ordered were a different story. My... wife's was over cooked and a bad tuff cut for a filet. My strip was cooked fine but bland and not seasoned at all. Now I mustsay the staff is amazing and took care of us well with a free dessert. The room is also stunning. But the chef and whomever isselecting the cuts should be better trained. Read more

We had the Wagyu steak and the lobster risotto. It was a religious experience. The staff was very attentive and we were able to... get a parking spot right out front. I hope to find my way back there with friends in the near future for another fantastic meal. Read more

My husband and I visited here for our 2nd anniversary. We had a great experience! Our table had water when we arrived, which was... a really nice touch. Our server was nice and attentive, without being too much. The food was delicious and the vibe of therestaurant is just unlike anywhere else. Read more

Spectacular ambiance! Beautiful wood moldings and bookshelves. Decorative fans and lights along with paneled ceilings make a... stunning view. Our waiter was energetic, friendly, and professional. He took excellent care to ensure our meals were prepared asordered. We started with wagyu carpaccio which I felt was cut too thick. Definitely not the thin slices you'd expect, or get intraditional carpaccio. Our ceaser was good, nice cheese slices and croutons. The oysters, 12, were not shucked properly. Allwere still attached to the tendon and most were scraped too much. Our filets were delicious, although I'd recommend the smallercut if you want it evenly cooked. Just get 2 if you want more, they have many topping and sauce options. Wonderful side dishes, loved the corn and gratin potatoes. Dessert was amazing, had a strawberry cake slice and a chocolate layered mousse. They didn'thave a selection of dessert wine sadly. Read more

Great atmosphere. Quaint bar. Definitely an experience to share. The bone in rib-eye was perfectly cooked but not as “prime”... as I’m used to (lots of grizzle around this piece). The “lump” crab appetizer was fresh out of a can but still tastyalbeit not lumpy. The drinks were generous and service prompt. I’ll return! Read more
