Enjoyed a lunch here on a Sunday. We parked on the street, and were seated with a view of the water. Very nice. Our service was... excellent, and the menu is extensive for all manner of seafood raw or cooked. Excellent choice of fine cocktails and other adultbeverages, as well. I enjoyed a bowl of delicious clam chowder and the bacon wrapped scallop appetizer, see pic. Others enjoyedthe hot lobster roll and the fish and chips. Both were excellent. Prices are somewhat elevated due to the lovely location andquality of the food and drink. If you are looking for a nice venue for a good meal with delicious local seafood, I can recommendthis place! This was our first time in New Hampshire and our first meal there! It was quite packed due to holiday weekend. Still, there was... no wait. Food was fresh, seafood was very tasty. They were all good. The view couldn’t be better. Will definitely go back! Read more
We sat outside on a beautiful early evening. Our server was really sweet and pleasant - we specifically wanted to eat sushi... outside for our very rare childless date night. We ordered 5 sushi rolls and there was not a one left! Incredible Read more
Nicely appointed, expansive menu. Took advantage of the raw bar where they had oysters from 4 separate localities. The food... quality is excellent and the wait staff is eager to please. We frequent Buckley’s often but are looking forward to adding surfto our rotation! Read more
Been here many many times over the years! The food has always been phenomenal with amazing views to go along with it. Service is... definitely a tad slow, but it’s a nice place to bring your family and friends to eat. Food is rather expensive, but certainlyworth it on days when food is extremely well prepared. Always been excellent, but sometimes the quality can vary. My onlyconcern is the gnat problem that seems to have gone on for months… hope you guys can take care of that because it gives theimpression of uncleanliness in a restaurant. I went to Surf on Christmas Eve and had a great experience. Staff were attentive and very welcoming. I had the Wicked Awesome... Tuna and a lobster roll. The sushi was sensational! Lobster roll was a good portion size and fries were delicious. The settingis quite casual with a nice river view. Read more
There was a longer wait to sit because they were extremely busy and now I know why. The service was nice and the food was... absolutely delicious. Tried the crab cakes, tuna sashimi, and surf clam chowder for appetizers and the lobster Kristina, andsesame seared tuna for dinner. Every dish was great but the sesame seared tuna was fantastic that was paired with unique sidesand flavors leaving it my favorite dish. If you like seared tuna, this is a must try!! Read more
