THE BEST omelette and muffins we have ever had! The pancakes, benedicts, and stuffed Portuguese French toast are also... incredible. This is our favorite kind of spot to find when we travel: a humble roadside cafe that has outstanding food. Thestaff are also very friendly and lovely. We will be coming back to Portsmouth just to eat at Cindy?s! Read more

Really great food! We stopped in while visiting RI. I had the delicious, fluffy buttermilk pancake and my boyfriend had the... Portuguese omlette and home fries. He went on and on about the home fries, seasoned and crispy. Cindy was very nice as were theothers. Read more

We stopped in on our way out of town and she did not disappoint! It was a busy morning so we sat on the bar top. Cindy was... cooking behind the bar like a champ! Such a sweet place. We will be back! Thanks for the great food! Read more

Had breakfast at Cindy?s today. Very disappointing. Use to be the place to go for a great home cooked breakfast in Portsmouth. ... First off, no silverware. All plastic! Why no silverware? Then the coffee is served in a paper cup. Really? I want my coffee ina mug! As for the breakfast, the home fries were extremely salty. And the bacon. I like crispy bacon but theirs was over cookedand tough. More like jerky. And finally, extremely pricey! We had a party of four and the bill came to $60! And we didn?t ordersteaks! Sorry Cindy?s, use to be a big fan. No more. Read more

CINDY....one word. This is an amazing food spot. We came in for brunch and it does taste better than it looks. Small home town... feel with all the love Cindy puts into her cooking. The potatoes were incredible and perfectly pouched eggs. The top it offtheir own home made hollendase with just a hint of heat....ahh I need to go back soon. Staff is friendly and it was nice tohave some casual chat with them. Most impressive is how Cindy works the kitchen. Sitting at the bar counter made it a show towatch her work the magic. You drive past or or have thought about it, you are wrong. This is a must and worth the drive for us! Read more

Swing and a miss on this stop. Good service in a cute little boutique diner. BUT... when it comes to breakfast the food must... stand on its own and unfortunately this was not it for us. For starters, everything is served with disposable paper and plasticgoods (very non eco freindly but thank God they give you a paper straw). Next the eggs benedict were cooked perfectly but thehollandaise sauce was not good, strong mustardy citrus flavor was just not for us, home fries were about half burnt, pancakeswere fine. Not a bad spot just nothing to bring us back. Read more
