This is a great location to eat and or have a meeting. It is very spacious and the staff is fully capable of accommodating large... groups. It is well decorated with an agricultural theme. The food here is great and the restaurant is very clean. The staff arevery friendly and professional. It is located right off of interstate 64 and is easily accessible to travelers. Read more

My husband loves taking me on scenic drives to places that I haven't been to and today, he took me to The Red Wagon. We were... immediately greeted and seated. The inside is so cozy and nice. However, you can go completely casual. The menu is chock-full ofdifferent appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and dinner plates. Shelley was our server. She was very nice, knowledgeable, andattentive. We started with the pretzels and beer cheese. They were amazing & the beer cheese was incredible! My husband orderedthe country fried pork loin, fried potatoes, and onion rings. I tasted a little of his food for review purposes and everythingwas fantastic. They hand cut, tenderize, and hand bread their tenderloins. It was extremely flavorful, tender, and juicy. Friedpotatoes were perfectly seasoned and the onion rings are crispy/ flavorful, as well (they're both breaded & battered!) I orderedthe reuben and fries. The reuben was amazing. The corned beef was juicy and flavorful! Wonderful kraut, Swiss cheese, andhomemade 1000 island dressing, all thickly stacked on lightly toasted marble rye. Even the crinkle cut fries were great! Outstanding service and food. We loved our waitress who worked her rear off to get our food up in a timely fashion. They are so... hit by COVID with almost no workers. But you wouldn?t know it here. They did forget some of our order but hey no complaints. TheBLT was delicious! Read more
The food isn't over seasoned (huge plus). The atmosphere is very interesting: lots of photos and stories about the local cities.... The bar is nicely decorated. Lots of parking. There's a Cajun twist to the menu. Plate portions are generous. The staff areattentive. This place is a great stop off of highway 40. It's relaxing and a great meal. Read more
