My first visit there. There will be NO MORE SUBWAY over priced trash sandwiches here. After the pastrami cheddar jack on marble... rye that I just had and the same for my nephew only he had. Sourdough baguette. I brought half of my sammich home. Just the halfis over a pound. Got it with lite mayo honey mustard lite lettuce tomatoes red onion and peppercini peppers. The pastrami iseasily an 1/8th inch thick. Oh the flavor AWESOME!! My very Happy Self will be going again. Well subway has really lost acustomer of 45yrs. We went to Big Bear Deli in June and it's a new favorite spot! Everything is made to perfection and it's so nice to have lunch... outside their restaurant. We will stop by again in July! Read more
I should have rated this awhile ago. And if I did it would be a 5 star. I am able to get here 2-4 times a year since I live in... Spokane and it is a drive. Used to be amazing and delicious. Owners were super friendly. I always come for the Shrimp Po Boispecial on Friday. This last trip was unfortunate. Service was meh, I ordered one sandwich to go and one to eat there. Got themboth in a to go bag. Had to ask for my pickle with my sandwich I was eating in with. Also the new owners have removed the breadpudding from the special. Ultimately makes the special that much less so. Overall this trip was not up to par for the many yearsI have been coming here, with the mess ups and no bread pudding putting a damper on the whole experience. Cute place, delicious food, friendly staff, small local business! I asked my brother who lives near Post Falls where the best... place to get lunch there was, and he said, ?BIG BEAR DELI, DUH!!? I try to eat vegan so I was nervous that they only had onemenu option for me there, the veggie wrap! So that?s what I got! I was skeptical but it was amazing!!!! The balsamic dippingsauce MADE it!! I got all the veggies plus avocado and I loved every bite! And the carnivores, such as my husband and brotherlove this place too! Great sandwiches, burgers and wraps etc. Yummy chips and drink options too! I would definitely go back andorder the exact same thing any day!!
