I have been here a few times. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. For that alone I continue to go back. I wanted to give it... a chance being that it's a local spot. Unfortunately not really impressed with the breakfast. The gravy is definitely packagedand the chicken fried steak is tough. The philly scramble was bland. UPDATE: The response from the owner tells you everything you need to know about this place. Probably best to head next door to... The Old European or even to Denny's. It's 105pm. The OPEN sign is lit. The operating hours say open until 2pm. There are atleast 20 people inside. Yet we're told "sorry, we're closed". Welp you've lost my business. Been holding off on trying thisplace and now I'll never know. But this isn't my loss as there are numerous other dining establishments around that will gladlytake my money and provide a great meal with excellent service. Read more

Our server was so nice.. but the food was not :( sorry guys. The veggies had gone bad/rotted.. yet were still served to us.... Even the chef agreed they were bad. I suggest the cook taste test their own food. I will say though, they offered a freedessert for all the issues.. we did not accept, but it was a nice gesture. The chicken fried steak was meh at best and our primerib was ordered medium but came out well done and it was served with a strange gravy over it that my hubby didn't like at all.Overall, the dinner menu is not great in our opinion, but there breakfasts may be better? Quick sit down but only 2 servers who didn't check in much or seem to try & fraternize with non locals. Orange juice tasted... weird, but good food. Went in at 1235pm to have breakfast. Not real busy. Was seated then when the server came around to finally take my order I was... informed no breakfast orders after 1230. I explained I drove25 miles on a recommendation from a friend to have their chickenfried steak. The response was ....SORRY!. Very very poor customer service. Read more
