I travel to Potomac several times a week and I've been looking for a good deli so i thought I'd just check it out this morning.... I ordered two fried egg sandwiches on toast with ham, an OJ, and water. It was $30 bucks including 20% tip. The service wasfast and the food wasn't bad. It just wasn't memorable and $30 is a lot for what I got. Unfortunately, there is a shortage ofsandwich shops, delis, etc. in Potomac especially as you get closer to the Potomac River. Ordered an omelet with sauteed onions - received nearly burnt, mostly skin fried onions. Woman who is probably a manager of... some sort, is curt - bordering on rude - to the STAFF. Not a pleasant experience because of this. Read more
It?s very unfortunate, what has happened to Montgomery County in regard to Jewish delis. Back in the day, there were so many... choices, but now, unfortunately, it is not the case. We thought we would give this deli a chance for lunch today, but ourexperience was less than delightful. The staff is completely overwhelmed with some woman literally running through the diningroom which is so incredibly inappropriate. Remain calm no matter how stressed you are. The man who took our order for drinkskept saying I?ll be right with you I?ll be right with you I?m busy I?m busy I?m busy but we are important too and this will bethe last time that we patronize this restaurant. Instead of iced coffee, I received iced tea. The soup was cold, and after thefood was delivered they never came back again. We eventually asked for the check and that was the end of it. I ordered an omelet today thinking that it would be okay and that I wouldn't have to check it before leaving. As soon as I got... home, I opened it to eat it and was very displeased by the presentation. Brookyln's Deli is a place that I've been to multipletimes and never had an issue. This is a sandwich heaven. Love all the options in this place. Everything here is made fresh. If you are a fan of the steak and... cheese, then get a steak and cheese. For sizing: adults that can eat get a full size. For kids and those who don?t eat much geta 1/2 size. Also!!! Don?t forget the French Fries!!! It?s a very high quality French Fries. It?s super delicious!!! They alsouse legendary ketchup:?Heinz Tomato Ketchup?. It?s pretty big fries, so two people can share it with just one order. If is yourfirst time visiting, I will recommend you just order a 1/2 sandwich and French Fries if you are not crazy hungry. When I meanhungry: it means you can eat four chili half smoke. The restaurant is always very busy. So be patience!!! The lady who managedseating always do an amazing job and she is always very friendly. If you have questions just ask her. Brooklyn Deli has enormous sandwiches. I often order the half meat sandwiches and still can't eat it all. Or I get full size... and take half home. The staff is always super friendly. I love the plate of fresh dill pickles but you have to ask for them. Read more
Delicious! Just what a Long Island girl looks for in a deli! I've had several breakfast sandwiches on kaiser rolls that remind... me of home, but I just tried their pastrami sandwich and it was AMAZING. I got the "Esther's Delight" sandwich (see picture) andsubstituted the pumpernickel bread for sourdough. It was just what I wanted! I highly recommend this restaurant/deli! Read more
I was excited to try a local deli. The staff was very nice, and the ambiance was pleasingly quaint. However, the food was less... than satisfying. Ordered a Reuben and fries. Both lacked taste and flavor. Both items were very bland, and my sandwich and frieswere a bit soggy. Read more
