This is a fresh seafood market plus a bakery and deli. They use the same seafood in their market for their eat-in and take-out... menus. The food and service were excellent. Will come again. Plenty of comfortable bar space to eat. Limited tables, so suggesta reservation. Read more

Did not know about this exquisite seafood market in mont county until recently! The crabcakes were excellent and I wish I knew... we could buy to cook later. As good as the seafood was the desserts are just as good (or better if you are desserts firstperson). Get them all. Only improvement I'd do would be to put prices more clear on the seafood side of things as many were notvisible or listed when we went. Read more

Great neighborhood spot for either take out or dine in. There are a few outdoor tables, however that might be seasonal. The... pastries are pretty incredible, but if you?re a seafood fan it doesn?t get fresher. A go to for high end and sometimes hard tofind fish. They have reasonably priced sashimi. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Pro tip, Wednesdays they have afamily meal that changes weekly. Usually a main and 2 sides and is better priced than buying from the counter a la carte. The service was utterly rude from beginning to end. I stood in the front for 20 minutes without anyone approaching me to be... seated while others who walked in after me got their seats. Started off with a bad impression of the service, and everythingthereafter went completely even sourer. My main course came out before the salad my appetizer. The server forgot to bring itout. I had to remind him after receiving my main course. Food was also mediocre, bland, and nothing special. With 4.7 googlereviews, I expected at least decent taste. It's hard to go wrong with crab cakes in Maryland but this place certainly wasdisappointing. I would have given 0 stars for the service and 2 for the food. Read more

This iteration of O'Donnell's is fantastic. Need fresh seafood to cook at home, brought to you by specialists who know and... displayed so you can see clearly the quality and the cuts? Check. Remember all the fabulous bakery treats like rum buns from therestaurant it was in Bethesda decades ago? Still good. Add salads, sides, great staff, and dining in or outside for lunch orearly dinner, and toss in prepared meals for two for $25 that you can heat and serve at home, and you have maybe half the greatthings about this wonderful market. I proposed to my now wife over 25 years ago in O'Donnell's. The owner still remembers. Theyare THAT good. Read more

I?ve gone to O?Donnell?s exclusively for my oyster fix in MoCo. They have such a variety of food and if you love oysters you... have stop by here. They have happy hours where their oysters are only $1. The staff is so kind and if you have a sweet tooth, the bakery is a MUST. Their desserts are delicious and I?m not even that much of a sweet tooth. If you have to get anything makesure to try the rum bun and the key lime pie but anything is amazing. As for other dine-in foods, the burger is really good andcomes with 2 sides. I always look forward to coming in to O?Donnell?s, they have the best staff and the best food. Can?t wait tostop by again. Just enjoyed a truly wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner. The turkey breast was excellent after following the directions for warming... it up, the sides including the corn bread stuffing were just excellent. In this year of Covid-19 we enjoyed a true Thanksgivingmeal. This is truly my 'go to' place for a quick lunch of soup, crab cake sandwich or soft shell sandwich when inseason....JUST A JOY EVERY TIME!!! Read more

Found this place online when I was craving clam chowder. Went in wanting to get clam chowder but came out with a stomach full of... tuna salad and soft shell crab sandwich. My bf and I sat at the bar in the back of the store, passing a pastry, seafood, andprepared foods counter. Everything was really clean and did not smell fishy at all. I liked the fact that it was an open kitchenand you can see everything prepared for you. The menu was small but the dishes were all well prepared. I ordered the tuna saladsandwich which came with a side of fries and Cole slaw. The tuna was fresh and did not leave a fishy aftertaste. The bf ordereda soft shell crab sandwich ( that the chef battered and fried right in front of us) that also came with fries and slaw. Overall, the food was fresh and very fulfilling. Read more
