Came here for lunch Saturday, overall the food was good! Top favorites were the Crispy Duck Curry and Pottery Shrimp?big... portions for lunch, and both dishes were well flavored and delicious. I?ve been to Sisters Thai in Fairfax multiple times and this was my first visit to the one in Potomac. I?m happy to report the... quality is just as great as the other locations. I had the passionfruit sparkling drink, which was very refreshing and the rightbalance of sweet and tart. I also had the fried chive dumplings and the drunken noodles with chicken, which is always a classicorder for me. The atmosphere is great and cozy, the service is needed to be more friendly they needs to focus on creating great experiences... at every touch point, not just at the dinner table. That was no greeting enthusiastically as soon as we enter therestaurant, it was no friendliness as we got seated at the table. Small gestures like these can show us that the staff caresabout providing a positive dining experience but that wasn't the case. The food was ok but wasn't something that I will comeback for, the curry was more like a shrimp soup than a curry sauce it was very watery not enough vegetables only 3 pieces ofeggplant but this could be a reference I like my curry sauce reduced and thick, the steak the flavor was good but the steak wasovercooked. Amazing and authentic Thai food, right size portions, best decor and atmosphere of any Thai restaurant we've been in the... country. From the cheerful staff, to the books in the bathrooms and hot airballons drifting above the bar, priced right, Iwished we lived in the area...it would easily be our go to! They didn't miss a detail. The restaurant has a really nice environment and the service is quick. I am glad that we have a good Thai food restaurant here.... The deserts are really good. However, the curries are inconsistent. I had really good curry here, but the Massamam curry my sonordered was just so so. The Yen-Ta-4 is the reason why I gave a four star: we just had why bite and then nobody touched itagain. I was expecting our server to ask us how about the food. But no. It was a little disappointment. Read more
Sisters is super cute and cozy inside! They also have outdoor seating. The bathroom is even adorable and all the decor is just... really fun! They have an excellent coffee/drink menu. The menus are printed like little newspapers which adds to the whole cozyhome experience. Everything we've had has been delicious! Tofu Red Curry Chive Dumplings Papaya Salad Crab Fried Rice Rose TeaLatte (They offer non-dairy milk options) Service is excellent! Prices are standard and reasonable. Having dinner with my friend to celebrate my birthday here. I love Thai food and I wanted something light for dinner. This place... has perfect portion for all the dishes. The portion is small so we could try several dishes and still have some leftover to takehome. The price is very reasonable considering it?s in nice Potomac area. The pottery shrimp is highly recommended. I definitelywill go back here to try other Thai street food. Read more
