This place has redeemed the gizzard. It had been years since I had good gizzards. Joe's Gizzard City showed up for the job and... got it done. Portion size is exceptionally generous... So much on one plate! Price is reasonable. Taste is great. Give them atry if you're in town. Read more

It had been years since I had chicken gizzards. They were well prepared and the beer was good. Probably won?t be there again as... my partner didn?t care for them at all. Read more

A home away from home. Ice cold drinks, a menu I often dream about. Most importantly, chicken gizzard! Always crispy, juicy and... a selection of seasonings for a king and or queen. If you get a chance take it, and enjoy the delicious ride! Read more

Have never tried gizzards, soooo I can't say too much about how well they were cooked. We did like them and enjoyed the new... experience. Triple D burger was AMAZING!!! Tried tons of fried foods on the menu...wat too many for two people, one that was sogood was the fried olives! They were perfect. Stephanie as mentioned in so many reviews was an awesome waitress! Ohhhh and don'tforget a fried twinkie. Or Frinkie as they call it, idc how full you get, you won't regret the frinkie!!!! Def a dive bar butthat's basically what we are used to where we are from so didn't bother us one bit. Only complaint was the bathroom and I willleave it at that. Worth the hour drive, will for sure be back to try some more delicious fried food!!! Read more

Excellent, Excellent and Excellent Stoped in after a trip to the Vermontville Maple Festival and was very pleased with... everything. Excellent wait staff and attention to detail. After sitting down, drinks were on the table in no time. Sundays, areBloody Mary days and there concoction was spot on. Excellent Food ? Ordered cheesy breadsticks and the 2 piece chicken dinnerwith gizzards. The breadsticks were amazingly fresh and with the marinara sauce perfect. As for the chicken, the batter wasnot as crunchy as were used, but was silky smooth and enjoyable. The accompanying gizzards were more then perfect and thatbatter was divine. A little cocktail sauce (yes cocktail - horseradish kick), sprinkle of salt and a few dashes of Tabasco madethem the best since what Famous Recipe used to serve (Kalamazoo/Regent in Lansing). Excellent atmosphere. During our dine in,the owner stopped at our table and shared a bit about the restaurant and an upcoming Guy Ferrari showcase to air inMay. Overall experience was what we were hoping for and if you?re considering stopping by, do so. You won?t be disappointed. Read more

In the shadow of the grainery in Pottersville, the is a little hole in the wall bar and grill that serves some of the best food... I have ever had. Famous for its excellent tempura battered chicken gizzards, it also has a great Deep fried hamburger madefamous by Guy Fieri Place was packed at 9:00 on a Wednesday. Food was excellent, the atmosphere was slightly divey, butdefinitely small town and family oriented. It is a bit off of the beaten path, but we'll worth the trip. 3 dinners and softdrinks came to 45.00. A good value for the price. Happy I made the trip. Read more
