I?m delighted to have found Greek Brothers Taverna! The food is authentic Greek cuisine, the fresh ingredients are delicious,... and the owners as well as the servers are welcoming. I would have rated this higher if not for the poor service. Service was good, until our waitress got distracted by another table... and we were totally forgotten about. No water refills, no taking away unused plates; we even had to flag down the hostess inorder to get our check and boxes for leftovers. All this aside, the food was mediocre for the price. My pork souvlaki was notvery flavorful, and my wife's gyro platter was also lackluster (she said the lamb was mushy). The rice served with our disheswas flavorless and too soft. The Greek sampler was the best part of the meal, although it was significantly overpriced (for acouple pieces of pita and four different dips) at almost $15. I think next time I want good Greek, I'll just make the trek toOpa Vera's (if they're still open). Read more
