First time here and probably the last time as well. The place is dirty, either understaffed or just don't care. The food was ok... but many dishes were empty, and they couldn't seem to get them refilled even enough to meet the demand. (Place wasn't even thatbusy) 5pm on a sat eve. If I could give this place a zero star I would. Hibachi was closed, one bar had no good, sushi only had like 10 pieces the rest... of the food was cold & looked like it was sitting out for days. Worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. We were there at 6:30at night. Read more
I gave King buffet a five star. Listen. It's a buffet. I love a good buffet but I'd never been here before so I admit I was... nervous. I was very pleased. Price was right. Food was delicious. NOPE! If could do 0 stars I would. Disgusting and old food. Pale and undercooked food. Me and my bf went here and we instantly... regretted it. I could of made better authentic food at home for half the price. My bf almost broke his teeth on the RICE! it wascrisper than the chicken! It was like chewing on gravel. The fried shrimp was not cooked. The soda was FLAT! Avoid at all cost! I ignored the bad reviews, and now im on the toilet all night and out 15 bucks! I wish i had taken pictures... of what this place looked like. this place had the worst food ive ever eaten. Every single item was was old, rock hard, andreused likely from the day before. Deep fried again and again and left out. Youll get fresher food and better quality from afood truck, and cleaner bathrooms at a new york subway. I have been going to the King Buffet since I was about 6-7 years old. I always loved it there and the experience and workers. So... I decided to come here for a date about one week ago. It was absolutely terrible. It was nothing like it once was. I wasappalled by the how the owner acted towards me. I added the pictures of our food. This was our first and final plate. We took afew bites everything was cold/ tasted bland. To remind you it was 5 pm dinner time and there were other customers there too. Thefood selection was poor not much out. Then the food that was out was basically cold. I went to get my Bill and it was $35.00! Iwas shocked and refused to pay for food I did not eat. Therefore paid $16, basically for customer service. The owner made snarkyremarks about how the food is hot and how the burners stay on and how she can not do anything about the issue. I was utterlyupset and embarrassed about this issue. We haven't been here since COVID19, and had heard that they reopened. We were excited, ( as past experiences have been... great). Unfortunately, the food was sub-par. See the photos?
