This place is what I consider extremely expensive for nothing special. I had an $18 hamburger that I kind of expected would be a... 'gourmet hamburger' if one can use that phrase in the same sentence as 'hamburger'. It was not gourmet. Nothing was wrong withit, but nothing was even remotely special about it. Their menu consists of other 'fancy' dishes with high prices to match. Theirother food may be better, but regarding the hamburger, I've had much, much, better for a similar if not cheaper price. I alsohave to add that you should definitely not sit outside. There isn't much of a view and route 9 is about 100 feet away. No matterhow nice the day, sit inside and avoid the constant road noise of the cars racing by. Sorry, can't recommend this place. Read more
Had a wonderful dinner last night at Farmers and Chefs. The outdoor seating is fabulous, service excellent. The Pulled Pork... and fries were sinful. My only negative comment is the parking, very limited. I highly recommend this restaurant. Cannot waitto go back. Read more

Had a very good meal of local mushrooms, steak and a shrimp scampi that was the best I?ve ever had. The evening was an early... fall, warm night that made it enjoyable to drink some red wine and socialize with a few affable locals and watch folks enjoyingtheir cocktails and meals. Go and enjoy. This was not my first visit and the meals and soups are exquisite. The salmon portionof the salmon salad was overly generous and the greens were very fresh and local. Whether the soup is pumpkin or tomato- you?lllove either. Add a grilled cheese with that tomato and comfort food is made!! Read more
