This place was my go-to Chinese fix. (I believe I even reviewed this place previously.) Although the new owner has given it a... good scrubbing and a fresh coat of paint...the food is quite BAD or should I say BLAND. No longer satisfied...2nd bust todaywith the frozen, tiny, and beige shrimp lo-mein. Yuck! Moving right along~ Not going to be disappointed a third time! On thehunt for a new Chinese spot. Please reply with suggestions. Pok/Wapp/Fishkill area(s). Taste × Freshness...service will alwaysbe bad ???? Updated April 2021. Food great again. I don’t know if new owners or not. Read more

I like their food in general. We usually order fried rice, mei fun, general tso chicken, chicken/shrimp with mixed veggies,... eggplant in brown sauce, chow me in etc. I like that they can customize almost all their food, I usually request light on oiland sauce and the food still tastes quite good. With another restaurant, when I mentioned that, the food was bland. Also thepeople are very nice and every time there was any slight mistake, they took quick action and fixed it. I wish they had Chinesegreens (choy sum) in their menu, but other than that they have become our go to Chinese restaurant locally. Read more

Ginger Chinese takeout, on Rt 9, just north of the Spackenkill road exits has been a staple at that location for maybe 15 years.... It is consistently a great answer to not cooking and enjoying a steaming plate of your favorite dish, which we normally wouldnot cook ourselves. I tend to be a little boring with my chicken and broccoli, but lately I’ve added extra broccoli and mixedvegetables, and it is delicious every time. Some of my extras might be their spare ribs, also tasty, and sometimes frieddumplings, extra crispy, again very tasty. Their won ton soup is also much better than most. A few years ago the businesschanged hands, and I have to say the new owners are constantly improving the place, it’s clearly evident if you’ve been along time customer, and these changes are all for the better. They’ve added an exotic fish tank to the ambiance which is awelcome change to stare at instead of your phone while you wait for your food. Dinner last night was great ! I’ll be back. Read more
