The place is good. We got soups first. My husband had potato cheddar soup which was delicious. I got chili, it?s was great as... well. I ordered shepherd?s pie and my husband got fish and chips. For some reason I had a different expectation of the dish Iordered. I didn?t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. It wasn?t bad, no. It was good, but just again I had a differentexpectation. I guess it was a little too watery for me. Fish and chips was good. I switched with my husband at some point and heenjoyed shepherd?s pie. The staff was great! Read more
I was there with my family 8 years ago, place was fantastic, went back this weekend and it's still perfect. Food was spot on... atmosphere still great Staff friendly. The place is right across the parking lot from the Metro-North Amtrak station inPoughkeepsie, very convenient. Read more
Service was really good, friendly and fast. The burger was OK. Nothing I'd come back for to be honest, a good standard burger... that could've been a bit juicier. Probably press them down on the griddle squeezing out the juices like many places do. Anyhow,for a quick bite and or drink before or after a train ride this place is decent. Read more
Was here on 3/28/22 for dinner. While at dinner my boyfriend and I were informed that there was a complimentary shuttle from the... restaurant to the Bert Kreischer show at the Civic Center! We both ordered steaks and they were cooked PERFECTLY. It took awhile to get our drink order and the bar was out of Pomegranate Martinis but our server, J.D. was very helpful andaccommodating. J.D. suggested another drink option and was very knowledgeable when we asked him about the local area! Mahoney?swas clean and the staff here are friendly. It was busy, but J.D. made sure to check in with us to make sure our food and drinkscame out well and was an excellent server! Had lunch here. Food was good and big portions. I have come here at night. The pub was fun. Nice music. There are a bar for each... floors. Wearing hat is not allowed in the pub. Dec 18, 2021 they will have an ugly sweater party. Read more
Stopped in on on our way home and definitely an excellent choice. From service, to wait time, to food coming out and... entertainment. We happened to stop in on a night with live music and riverdance. Food was delicious and well priced. We loved itso much the following weekend we took our family for dinner. Food was good, had the shepherds pie , which was good but could have been mixed better , one 1/2 was meat & watery , other 1/2... was meat with a lot of peas, had a good taste though. The chili is also goo. Nice to sit outside & see the trains pull into thestation. Also has indoor seating upstairs & downstairs. Read more
Very nice and cozy restaurant, with good food and polite service. Not too colorful, quiet, and the area is serene for a good... meal, a rest, or just to gather your thoughts in your travels. Read more
