I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this store. I frequent often and every time there is a line and although there are... 2 to 3 employees, only one is helping customers. The tables and counters are always dirty and the bathroom isnt clean either. Yesterday I went there to pay for gas and again waited while one employee was serving the line of 5 people and another wassitting at the table fumbling with papers. Another employee was in the back. It took one of them to draw attention to anotherto request help. I got frustrated while waiting and walked out. Customer service is terrible. Read more
Normally I never have a bad experience there but today. The girl behind the counter gave me an attitude because I asked for a... bag. She never even offered me one then when I asked if I can have a bag she looked at me and said please can be nice . I didn'teven respond because I didn't want to start a fight but she was very rude. I have gone there many time and was ignored while theworkers were talking to one another but I just blew it off. This girl today was just rude. Read more
STORE 306, CREEK ROAD, POUGHKEEPSIE The store is normally a mess especially the coffee station which you might not want to... touch. While standing in line at a register that someone just paid at I politely asked if the register is open when nobodyapproached. A woman comes out from behind the divider and screeches at me, ?DIDN?T YOU HEAR (The other girl) SAY THAT THISREGISTER IS FROZEN!!!? ( I didn?t) I was taken aback and asked her who she thought she was talking to and she rudely continuedher attitude so I asked for her manager. Turns out she IS THE MANAGER!! I was shocked. I asked for her name and the corporatecontact info while she stormed around behind the divider in a flurry of anger. I can accept the fact that some people are havinga bad day but this was unacceptable. While she?s fumbling around behind the divider there are people at the coffee stationasking for creamer and fresh coffee and the egg sandwich rack is empty. This is a normal experience in this store. I?m in thisstore almost daily as it is convenient on my way to work but I will avoid it in the future. Some days you walk in only to turnaround and walk back out. The ?Manager? Katie (all the info she would give me) told me to contact corporate and I told her Iwould be sure to do so. Hopefully this situation can be rectified and this store brought up to basic standards as the otherStewart stores I frequent in Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie. I am forever grateful that they offer free air; it was a lifesaver for me because I did not have cash and needed air to get me... to the auto mechanic. Stewart's is the best neighborhood "convenience" store and gas station. Their gas prices were great aswell. Lastly, I love their ice-cream. Whenever visiting one of their stores, I've had excellent customer service 96% of thetime. Thank you Stewart's... can you open more locations across NY please... come to the tri-state and LI.
