I wish I could give this place 5 stars. Their food is amazing and no one can beat there Drunken noodles (My fav). Everything I... have eaten here has been super yummy and delicious. The missing star is for 2 reasons 1. there was a waitress (possiblymanager/owner) slightly older lady. She was very rude, to all the customers (maybe a server did not show up and she had towork?) but she made me not want to return as a sit down customer. 2. There is no way to do a 2 star, not that big of deal. Ijust don't really love how spicy a 3 is and 1 is not spicy enough. Other than that, this place is the best Thai place aroundhands down. The most amazing food I have ever eaten. My first visit but not my last. Enormous portions and so reasonably priced.

An exceptional restaurant. Absolute quality and friendly, attentive service. This family comes from a long tradition of making... exquisite food. We drove an hour and 15 minutes to eat here and look forward to doing so again and again. Pad Lao andcoriander beef were super tasty, and the sweet sticky rice with fresh mango will definitely be in our order next time as well.Thank you for such a special dining experience! Read more

For some of the best tasting Thai food this is the place to go. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Kitsap County. They... are always busy and there is a reason why, excellent food and great service. Located next to Central Market in Poulsbo. Notenough time to dine in, get an order to go, you won?t be disappointed. Read more

My family of 10 always agree on something when it comes to eating out. Korean bbq and Thai food. That means we're picky when it... comes to our Thai restaurants so when stumbled upon this small town thai restaurant that boast elegant decors and even morepromising online reviews, we just had to. Let's just say, EVERYONE was raving! From the noodles to the curry..everything! The service was quick and they were very friendly. We will for sure come back again. The drive from Seattle willfor sure be worth it! Read more

I?m a big fan of Thai cuisine, and I?ve been to many of the well-known Thai restaurants on the west coast, including Pok Pok in... Portland (RIP), Night + Market in LA (so good), and Kin Len Thai Night Bites in Seattle (excellent). However, in my humbleopinion, Kachai Thai Kitchen tucked away in Poulsbo is even better than these other acclaimed spots. I visited Kachai lastnight since I was staying on Bainbridge Island and had an amazing dining experience. From the moment you walked in through thestylish horizontal wood-paneled doors, everything was great. We had crab wontons as an appetizer and they were fried to theperfect crispness and paired with a sweet-tangy sauce. For entrees we chose the boar collar, chicken panang curry, and pad keemao. The boar collar was so tender and flavorful, and paired with some sautéed veggies. The chicken panang curry had the rightbalance of heat and sweetness from the peanut sauce, and it was packed with chicken and veggies. I?m a big fan of pad kee mao,and Kachai absolutely nailed it. Great flavor and lots of meat and veggies to compliment the wide rice noodles. For dessert wehad a mango sticky rice that was the perfect ?capper? for our meal. The restaurant offers Singha beer and a good selection ofwines. We had their Chardonnay and dry rose, and both were great pairings to the Thai food. The interior of the restaurant isstylishly decorated with eye-catching light fixtures overhead and small lanterns strung through the dining room. The staff wasknowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. If I lived nearby it would definitelybecome one of my regular favorites. For now I will just keep dreaming about the next time I?m able to return. We like dinning there but lately we order their delicious food to go. My favorite is the Kachina salad with grilled chicken.... It's so fresh and very flavorful. This salad will rock all your tastebuds. If you get a chance try one of their grilled meats.Chicken, boars collar, and sausage are fantastic. I think this place is one of poulsbo's hidden gems.
