Great local spot with delicious food. The service was very friendly and hospitable; everything was clean; the drinks were unique... and flavorful; and the food was hot and tasty with large portions. Everything was served in a timely manner. Prices werecomparable to other local restaurants. We've been twice now and will definitely be back. It's a great choice when you'revisiting and want a unique meal, a perfect place to take guests, and a lovely spot for regular date nights or group outingsalike! Read more

Our meal was just okay. I got the goulash and the big pretzel as an appetizer (is definitely enough to share). But my mother's... soda was flat and instead of changing their CO2, they offered her tea or lemonade. Probably will try a different spot if we goback to Poulsbo. Read more

My first time there, and it was very good. I had the lamb burger with German potato salad, and Octoberfest beer. All yummy.

Everything you would hope for in a European Pub. Superb!! food! and a quiet atmosphere. We were recommended by multiple people... to this location and we found out why in the first bite. Stumbled into this wonderful place while walking in Poulsbo, it is down a short alley and can be found to the left of the... bakery. The food is fantastically authentically German, I have the Wienerschnitzel with Spatzel and Potato salad (German style, served warm). My wife had the Jaeger-schnitel, we both loved the food. It is a wonderful little slice of Germany, without theairfare. Read more

11/6/2021 Knowing we would be in Poulsbo, Washington, today, I started looking for a new place to try for lunch and was excited... coming across this EuroPub called Tizleys. Unfortunately, not everyone will experience Tizley's because they are locatedupstairs and, to my knowledge, have no elevator, just a long set of stairs to conquer. This was my reason behind four star andnot five. After looking through their very reasonable size menu and picking what we wanted to order, we were met withdisappointment when our server said lunch didn't start until noon. Lunch was part of why we chose Tizley's, but we were starvingand didn't want to hold out for lunch; I wonder why they don't start at 11 am? So breakfast it was! Knowing I wouldn't be ableto consume the sheer amount of food that most of the breakfasts offered, I ordered a half order of Biscuits and Gravy, and myhubby had the Germany-Holstein Schnitzel. My Biscuits and Gravy was straightforward, a single biscuit cut in half layered withtheir house-made gravy! I can't even begin to tell you how scrumptious the biscuit and gravy were; aside from the tasty, delightful ingredients they used in that gravy mix, the biscuit had a nice little crunch to it, and I would be put to shame if Ididn't tell you that there was plenty of gravy on it, no skimping there! My husband was also impressed by his Germany-HolsteinSchnitzel. If you're wondering what a Schnitzel is, it's a thick boneless cutlet traditionally made from veal. However, pork, chicken, and beef can be used as well. In this case, it was pork in this Schnitzel. The cutlet is then breaded with breadcrumbsthen pan-fried or deep-fried. His meal also came with house-made gravy; two eggs topped that and hashbrowns on the side. I had alittle taste of his pork schnitzel, and he was right; it was good! So there are no regrets about having breakfast instead oflunch, the food was fabulous! Tizley's is on the smaller side, cute, a tad dated but comfy, and charming in Read more

Probably one of the worst services I have seen. Very short staffed, is the excuse the waitress insists on. A table that arrived... at least 10 minutes after us received their apertizers first, and the waitress forgot to give our order to the kitchen and sothat table also received their entrees before us. She was quite rude when we were ordering, I hadn't decided between 2apertizers and went back and forth once before she replied saying, "Come on, I have other orders to get to!" Clearly she did nothave time for our orders! We waited over an hour before she realized she did not put the order into the kitchen. Food is cheapbar food, restaurant is stale and tacky. AVOID!
