My favorite restaurant in Poway. The soup is a favorite of course, but I also really like the salads and chicken breast plate... with rice and beans. I get the salad with quinoa minus the cranberries with chipotle dressing instead of the raspberry. DonPollo does not hold back with the salads either, unlike some restaurants (i.e. Victor?s) that will give you trace amount ofveggies in a box full of lettuce. My salad was full of fresh veggies and meat. The salsa verde is also killer? just enoughspice and a great flavor. The only thing that I have tried that I didn?t like were the chips. They were definitelydifferent/weird and not my type lol, but I don?t come here to eat chips anyway, so no big deal. Thanks for being awesome!?????????? Read more
Sorry to say. Fish tacos were blend and chewy. Enchilada plate... Nothing special. Shredded chicken didn't seem to be seasoned... and was also chewy. They were also way over dosed with the enchilada sauce. Beans were good. Staff and service was good. Read more
AMAZING FOOD!!!!!!!!! This is such an awesome company! They have catered multiple weddings and events of mine and my friends.... They are extremely respectful, personable, professional and their food and service is excellent! Everyone I know raves aboutthem!! Mario takes care of everything and takes care of every detail!! Read about the reviews and was dying to tryout on a rainy day. A tad disappointed. My soup did not come with any tortillas as I... saw other patrons get their soups with tortillas. I?ve actually had better elsewhere. It was not bad. Read more
