If you’re in the mood for a hefty Italian meal then this is the place. Food is consistent with other locations. Generous... servings , tasty and full of cheese so make sure you can handle it. The service was great, ample parking out back but can getfull on busy evenings. Read more
Boyfriend said this place was essential SD. So we went...right before hittin' up Poway candy cane Lane (but after hittin' that... tokerewski). Could it be biased then, this review? NO! This spot is legit! Walked in Saturday night, expecting a wait. And wewere right. But don't trip, it was only 30 minutes. Also, we can't be too upset as we rolled 2 deep at 7:30 for the dinnerrush. Having said that...worth the wait. LOTTA cheese, a perf amount of jalapenos and the service was on point. Big smiles,constantly seeing how they can help the customer and a good team dynamic. Always a good time at Filippi’s. We got 2 pizzas to share and had lots of leftovers to bring home for later. The pizzas here... are LOADED with cheese so if you are into it then this is the place for you. If you’re not then I would suggest ordering otheritems! This Mom and Pop pizza place is awesome. Pure good vibes as soon as I walked in with the peppy hostess and even the customers... outside on their way home were smiling at me. Filippi's has a very neat, clean and well decorated style. The pizza tasteshomemade with quality ingredients by someone who knows what they're doing, verses a chain company. I'm definitely coming backhere to try more items on the menu, especially their desserts. Read more
Pizza was horrible. Ordered pepperoni and sausage. It was a struggle to find them on the pizza. A ton of cheese. A frozen pizza... from the grocery store would have been much better. Garlic bread (see pic) is smeared with tomato sauce. Yuck. My friend had asalad. I wish I had ordered that. --- Long wait even through half the restaurant was empty. This was due to a staffing shortageI was told. Staff was friendly. I didn't complained because my friend that was with us recommended this place. Read more
Filippi's is a real old time Pizza Grotto if there ever was one. Not just great pizza, but there's lots of reasonably priced... options for families too. Although we regularly take out, love to dine there with all of my family. Read more
