We've been eating here for years. I can remember when the original location opened well over a decade ago. It's never... disappointed. The service and quality of food has always been on point (and quite frankly, a pleasant surprise because nothingelse in Poway had really hit the mark like this place). The sushi is fantastic. Lots of options. Good value for the price. Our service was a 1 star. I had to get up multiple times for... the server to come over, such as to take our order. I am giving the restaurant the benefit of a good rating because the sushiwas so good. Maybe the server was having a bad day. Plan on at least $20/person, reasonable for the area. I'd give 5 stars ifthe service wasn't so bad. Read more
Very relaxed outdoor atmosphere, Excellent Food, and Great Service. The waitresses are always attentive, down to earth, and out... going! They were very helpful and Attentive when it came to my food allergies in choosing other alternatives! I'm here aboutonce a week! I enjoy the food, the service, you can't go wrong!! Miso Soup and Jasmine Tea a must try Pepper Seared Ahi YUM! AhiPoke Delicious, and beautifully made if you like spicy, go for the "Ring of FIRE Roll!" Don't Forget to Ask ForDESSERT!!???? Monday 5:13 pm the place almost empty the sever want me to seat under the heater outside, when I asked her if she can turn off... the heater she said no,then I asked her if I can seat on another table she said all are reserved....now I know why the place isempty....NO CUSTOMER SERVICE i went to Tong Sake house 0.3 miles away , the food and service was fantastic....you guys need totry this place. Came here for lunch. The lunch options are a bit limited so I got items on the regular menu. Also outdoor dining We got two... lunch Items under B for $16.95. The crunchy roll and shrimp tempura roll. I also order Lazy Chef under specialty roll and mixedtempura with shrimp and veggies. The lunch special came with a bowl of soup. The miso soup was super salty and undrinkable. Thebest roll was the lazy chef. It was deep fried with eel, salmon, avocado and imitation crab. I never get a roll with creamcheese and forgot to tell them to take it out but it worked out. Paired it with the avocado made creamy. Very good. Giving it3.5 stars because of the miso soup. I can?t even describe how my visit here was other than amazing. I know I came at the perfect time 2pm-4pm so I got to eat at the... Sushi bar and have Brent be my Sushi master for an hour and a half! Everything the man made I genuinely loved and everyrecommendation he made I accepted! Everything was an atomic bomb of awesome, everyone has a spin on things but for me hecouldn?t miss even on things I had given a big miss on for others he seemed to be a magician and make anything into a pot ofloaded gold bars!!
