We were camping nearby at Alum Creek and a friend recommended we stop here. By far the best BBQ we have had in recent memory. We... had the brisket sandwich and a pound of baby back ribs. Nocterra is a bonus as well! We tried a couple of hard seltzers. Theywere very good. The town of Powell was a surprise bringing a nice small town feeling. Read more

I really really wanted to like them, but the food just didn't measure up. I don't like to give negative reviews, but I hope... people find this helpful. I went to Ray Ray's yesterday morning/afternoon at the Powell/Nocterra location. Staff was friendlyand food came out fast. I ordered the "Meatsweats" because I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I also got a side ofcollard greens. First off, the good... the collard greens were delicious, but that is it for the positive portion of thereview. The rest was highly disappointing. The ribs were cold, dry and very tough. The pulled pork was also cold and dry and thesausage tasted old... what I assumed happened is, I just got food leftover from the night before, or maybe something they cookedvery early that morning. Everything was just stone cold and no moisture in anything. Maybe the quality wasn't there because itwas Noon on a Saturday. But I would rather them just be out of everything or wait a longer time for good fresh food. Usually Idon't write reviews, but I spent nearly $40 after tip, and for that amount, I could get a steak freaking dinner, so I guess I amjust a little upset at what I got, for the money I spent. Delicious! Partnering with Nocterra Brewing at the Powell location, Ray Ray's is located on far side of the beer garden and is... not easily visible from the road. Can just walk right through the beer garden or through the Nocterra building. Very friendly! The brisket is best ever! Read more
We ordered a sampler. The rib was very dry, so was the pulled pork. Chicken was the tenderest meat but was too salty for me.... Brisket was the worst i've ever had, pretty dry and bland. Overall very underwelmed. Would not recommend. Read more
