Busy place and there is a reason for that, stellar quality and delicious flavours. Never had a better samosa - so much so that I... ordered more when I was leaving Powell River to take home for the freezer. Friendly service, in person menu has icons to helpshow you which items can be made vegan - a little harder to figure out online. I ordered Curry veg and Vegetable Korma added anote to be made vegan. Kelly from The Old Courthouse Inn suggested this place. He said I wouldn't regret it and he was right! Fast, efficient service... for takeout and my tandoori mixed grill was super delicious! All the meat was incredibly tender, juicy and very flavorful. Yes,the butter chicken sauce that comes with it is quite sweet (as other reviewers have said) but it's still tasty, and if that'show the locals like it then I'm good with that! Ok.. so I must say that this is probably the best restaurant in Powell River. I have eaten here, and had take out a few times... now, And always have I had exceptional service. But I must say today was by far the best! I ordered my same couple items to bedelivered to my home. The food came in a half an hour and was wonderfully piping hot, not to mention delicious as always. Thisfamily is so kind and I can't thank them enough for their graciousness. We are very lucky to have them here in Powell River.Thank you for continuing to feed Powell River you're beautiful food. Visited the place on our 2 day trip to Lund. Was surprised to find such good Indian cuisine and honestly, better than Vancouver.... the portion was good, the prices were reasonable. The cuisine is designed according to the local community which many Indianmight find a little sweet but still very delicious. 10/10 food, service, location and prices. Read more

This restaurant came highly recommended from multiple locals. We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful authentic flavors.... We ordered vegetarian lunch special, and a meat lunch special. One less star because Butter chicken was a bit too sweet for ourliking but rice were perfectly cooked, light & fluffy. Will be back next visit to try more dishes. Read more
