Food was delicious. Ordered fried fish and chicken wings. Batter was a little heavy on the fish but MASSIVE pieces. I... definitely could not have finished it all just from looking at it.. it was shockingly big. Chicken wings were crispy. Thewaitress was the best you could ever have. I also ordered take out the following day to my hot room as I was dead tired. (5stars for the hotel workers which is attached to the pub). Convenient and satisfying. I would recommend this place. Delicious food and excellent service! We tested the bartender?s knowledge and were pleasantly surprised by the drinks! I had the... beet and tomato salad with a side of dill pickle fries. I would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Powell River or stayingat the Town Centre Hotel. Read more
Food was awesome. Wednesday night came in for dinner. The service was horrible. Waitress brought us our drinks took the food... order and we didn't see her again. Another lady brought us our food. We were left with our table covered in empty plates andglasses for 48mins. We eventually had to ask for our bill. We were not offered any refills or the option for deserts. I have been here twice, the first time I waited at the front door for easily 10 mins without service and then left. Second time... showed up at 7:30pm at night for a table ( I asked the waitress and they close at 8) the waitress told me they won?t takeanymore tables even though the restaurant wasn?t very busy just empty tables with dirty dishes all over them. Twice and Ihaven?t even sat down and not impressed. Would give 0 stars if I could. Read more
I was not expecting the food to be so good! I started with a Bloody Caesar which was very good. It came with pickled asparagus... spears which were excellent. Then fish and chips with a side caesar. The fries were average but the fish was excellent, thetartar sauce was perfect, the tiny portion of coleslaw was delicious and actually the perfect amount, and the salad was verytasty and perfectly dressed. Great place to grab some food and drinks. Food is great and this place has a good atmosphere.
