Cute stop to wait for the ferry. Dropped in today, as I needed a place to grab a coffee, a bite to eat and an escape from the... rain. Wontons were good - enough to tide me over for my return trip home. Criticism; coffee mugs were small for me, and serverswere overly quiet (maybe just extremely chill). Still, a pleasant place to sit, read, stare into the rain and watch for theferry. Read more

Food was great. Spice level is higher than you would think so fair warning. Service is nice, even though the place was packed.... All of the food was fresh and hot. We visited on a recommendation from a family member and I would recommend this place tooffers as well. Note: they have 1 highchair and we needed 2, so that's a bit of a challenge. Read more

Excellent Pad Thai and Green Curry Chicken with lots of flavour. Unlike other place on the Sunshine Coast, this Pad Thai had all... the components: noodles, green onion, tofu, eggs, shrimp, peanuts, hot peppers and sauces. Only quibble was the sauce had aslightly sweet undertone. My wife?s Green Curry with jasmine rice was excellent. They had a patio (no service on the patio) thatwe could eat our takeout lunch on with our dog which is a bonus as there goes not seem to be any dog-friendly restaurant patiosin Powell River. Phad Thai was so sweet we could not eat it. Like a slop of wet ketchupy noodles. Asked the server (who also seemed to be the... manager) if they could make us some that was less syrupy, she said no, not unless I paid for another plate. And I brought agroup of 12 here (they all thought it was way too sweet too)! I'd avoid this place just because of the poor service. Read more

Phad Thai is so sweet we couldn't eat it. Tastes like they made it with ketchup. I've eaten phad Thai in hundreds of places... including Thailand and this is 3 times as sweet as it should be. The group I was with agreed. The server, who also seemed to bethe manager, said they would not make me a new one without paying for another plate. A slop of wet noodles in sweet and soursauce. If you can't make a good phad Thai... I'd avoid it just because of the poor service (so bad, I did not tip). The PrawnArroy-D and Tom Yum were ok, not the best I've had, not the worst, but both also with serious amounts of sugar added. Broughta group of 12, won't be returning. Read more

Started with delicious iced coffee and iced tea (yum), and very tasty hot spring rolls. Both main dishes we ordered (to share)... were fabulous - chicken swimming angels and drunken prawns - and there was more than we could eat. Great atmosphere, relaxedand comfortable. We?ll be back! Read more

I gave this restaurant a try as the reviews were ?good?. I looked at the online menu & ordered the chicken & cashew /veg dish. ... Looked great on the menu / large slices of chicken. Now that?s not what I received in my takeout order. I received about 4ozworth of chicken & a lot of sauce, celery & red bell pepper. I think I?m having heart spasms due to the high salt content. Please this ?North American? Asian food is poisonous. Sorry for the negative review but I?m seriously being honest. At leastmake your own sauce! The store bought sauce is toooooo saulty/sugary/preservatives etc? Read more

We went here for take out since it?s right across from the ferry to comox. One of the best Thai restaurants we?ve been to in... ages. We got the chicken pad Thai and the cashew chicken. The cashew chicken was absolutely unbelievable. We got it 4/5 spicylevel and it was great. So so delicious. Highly recommend this spot! Read more
