Breakfast was wonderful! I'm unfamiliar with the area and was in a rush, so I called ahead and just told her to surprise me with... breakfast for two people. She did not disappoint! The woman at the register was lovely and accommodation for both my vegetarian kids and my picky eater kid. The vegetarian got... the best egg salad sandwich on a croissant and my son and I LOVED The Virginian! Everything was delicious, the atmosphere issuper cute, the people were friendly. There are cute spaces for both indoor and outdoor dining. And a little free library! Iwish we lived closer so we could eat more here more often! Read more

A delightful surprise stop this morning. I've never driven by when they've been open, so I was excited to give this place a try.... No disappointment here! Walked into a comfy, warm spot and was greeted with a friendly welcome. While waiting for mymade-to-order egg sandwich, I checked out the clever small business table and even picked up a few cards. Loved seeing thecustomers interacting. More tables than I expected to see, and even a few outdoor seats. My sandwich was great, but since I tookit to go, I need to come back soon to enjoy the cafe! Not what I was expecting. Pancakes were very dry and khaki. They were also cinnamon flavored and almost seemed like they were... gluten-free. They were also pretty small. The side of ham that we got I?ve never had served anywhere in my life. It wasliterally lunchmeat that had been warmed up on the stove. IMO very overpriced. Read more

It was an odd experience. I always let a server, shopkeeper, proprietary know if it's my first visit to their establishment. I... believe a wise person will take the time and make the effort to ensure a good first impression. The young lady taking ordersseemed indifferent to me at best. I had hoped to have some breakfast food, but had just missed the 11am cutoff. No accommodationwas offered, ok, fine, but how about a little sympathy such as a kind remark. Anyway, I regrouped and ordered an ItalianSandwich as a combo with fries. $16.95 was the tab. I wasn't asked but stated "to eat here" however my food was served to go. Nobiggie. The sandwich tasted good, the fries were a bit lacking. No inquiry ever came asking how things were. Interestingly, thesame person that took my order delivered it and seemed in much better spirits. Despite that, she never followed up with me. Longstory short, I finished, left somewhat unsatisfied. I have no desire to return. Read more
