Well, it's the only pizza place in town pretty much and the only one that delivers to my house in this rural area. But at least... they make up for it with good pizza and good people there. I'm certainly glad that I didn't get stuck with a Dominos at least,lol. Read more
If I could give it no stars I would. If your going to run a company based upon " no one outpizzas the hut" then maybe you should... "outpizzas" the frozen red Baron that's been buried in my freezer. Read more
The Powhatan, Va Pizza Hut has steadily declined over the last year. They normally do not have delivery drivers in order to... place delivery orders. This last experience however is unacceptable when we received the Pizza delivery that obviously had beendropped or scattered in the drivers car on the way because it was folded over 1/3 in the box when we opened it. Understand thatmistakes happen but they took no accountability for the Pizza being ruined upon delivery. We took it back to the storeimmediately so the manager could see how it was delivered and received a refund. Hopefully they will hire and properly traindrivers and employees in store in the future. Not able to do traditional wings due to things like "oven isn't working" and "they don't have any" for a month now. Which not... having them would be fine but as it's the only thing I get from there since I'm gluten intolerant I'm pretty bummed. That andthey canceled my family's order that was placed before 8pm on Sunday because they "couldn't do the deal they had online anymore"and "they close at 8pm and could make something else". When I worked at restaurants the rule was that we had to serve customerseven if they came in 1 minute before closing because we were still open. Read more
Find staff that are willing to use their customer service skills, and know how to be professional. From the time I placed my... order on the website everything after that was a disaster. From the phone call stating "we close in 30 minutes and if you're nothere you won't have pizza. And we are not doing curbside because we are shirt staffed so you have to get out your car and comeget it. Cuz I'll be in the back cooking". It was at that moment I should have canceled my order. After arriving and going in thestore to get the food, there were 5. Yes FIVE people working inside. One of which was not in uniform, looked very unkempt, andI honestly thought he was a random friend of an employee. No one spoke upon entering, and when I finally did get waited on I wasasked "what is it you want". My pizza was still not ready according to them and I had to wait. I opted to wait in my car sinceit seemed to be enough people there to bring it out to the advertised curbside sign. Once the pizza was in my possession Ichecked it and it was cold. Not super cold, but it was definitely not out the oven. Unfortunately it couldn't be returnedbecause the door was locked and they were closed by the time I got out of my car and walked back to the store behind the rudeperson that brought it to my car. The entire visit was unprofessional and I encountered some of the rudest people I ever metwithout saying anything! Shame on this location. It?s one of the few places to get Pizza and POWHATAN. However, they do not deliver to a big enough area.
