It's like a local, seafood serving Cracker Barrell. The coffee was great and bottomless. I ordered a variation of Eggs Benedict... with crab cakes. Wow! What a breakfast. I always turn my nose up at the idea of going out for breakfast because to me, it's so simple to make at home. However, this... restaurant blew me away! Their breakfast menu is so creative and inventive. I had the breakfast biscuits with the Creole sauceand shrimp, and my mom had the French toast with strawberries and homemade whipped cream. The lunch menu is good. But the breakfast was horrible. The coffee and milk is outrageously overpriced. Coffee has a watered... down taste. The ?hash browns? are large cubed potatoes with no seasoning. I mean, salt and pepper would have been nice. Thecheddar and bacon omelet was not good. I don?t know what kind of bacon they use, but it has a bad flavor. Biscuits were good.But $3.50 per person for coffee and $3.97 for one cup of chocolate milk is ridiculous. Down home atmosphere, amazing food and second to none service. The variety of savory dishes served here are nothing short of... incredible. I?ve had one of the best: omelets, hamburger steaks, chicken fried steaks, seafood pasta with crab cakes,hamburgers, char grilled oysters, seafood platters, and fried catfish plates I?ve ever had. The food is fantastic and the service is great!! Definitely recommend the stuffed french toast with strawberries for... breakfast!!
