Maybe some of these other reviewers that say the pizza isn?t good just went on a bad day..or they just don?t know what a good... pizza really is. We had dinner here last night and the pizza was excellent (the Fox?s Deluxe is really simple, but tasteawesome), the restaurant itself and the employees were in the Halloween spirit, and there were quite a few drink options thatI?d like to try in the future. The atmosphere was really nice and the restaurant was clean. The price was good for the pizza. Unfortunately the pizza was... mediocre and they don?t ?cook? the bottom. Though that could be a Fox thing as I have never had their pizza before. My onlyreal complaint is if you ask for water they bring you bottles of water and charge you. My wife does not drink when she eats andorders a water as it?s less confusing. I have never been to a restaurant that makes you buy bottles of water before and it wouldhave been nice to know ahead of time. They also have a sign about being short handed and to be nice to the people who showedup. In 2022 you would think more places would have realized if they are short staffed it?s simply because they don?t pay enough. Read more
Great place. Can sometimes be a bit crowded, but not terribly so. Good idea to call ahead in advance if you're going on the... weekends, as the wait can be long.. Closed on most holidays, so keep that in mind. Service and atmosphere are great. Food isdelicious and the menu size is solid. (The sandwiches are worth a try) There's a humidor with a large selection of cigars forsale if you're a cigar enthusiast. Read more
So Fox's Pizza Den, I have been twice now. The place has an old fashioned, family friendly vibe. Downtown Prattville in a nice... area. I like the cocktail menu as it's attached to a bourbon bar. Pizza is pretty good but lacked anything that made it unique,almost forgot to take a photo. Had the meat supreme, the chicken rancher, and a cheese pizza for the kids. Wouldn't mind seeingthat giant pie with 50+ slices. Read more
This business lacks customer service, quality food, & proper management. When it comes to seating a party of more than 2 people... their seating policy makes no sense. My son and daughter were parking the vehicle and we could not be seated until the entireparty was inside waiting in the door. Four of us walked in together because we took two separate vehicles since there was 6total. There is limited parking in the front so my children parked in the back parking lot. We could have sat at the bar withouthaving everyone walk in together and ordered our food but not at a table?? This was 5pm on Sunday afternoon and so many tableswere available. The place looked empty. This is when you should use the common sense approach and great customer serviceapproach. Great customer service would have been thankful for the 4 that walked in and been happy to show the other two where wewere sitting when they approached from the back parking lot door. What do I gain from saying I have a party of 6 if we reallydidn?t have a party of 6? I would have spent the same amount of money (well over $100 as always) whether we sat at a table orthe bar. If my son wouldn?t have insisted on eating here I would have walked out. Too many restaurants with much better foodthan under cooked pizza to eat at in Prattville. The only thing I regret is not taking a picture of how badly the pizza wasundercooked to share with the rest of you. Read more
I am only giving it 2 stars because the cheese bread was so good. Me and a friend came in with our daughters after they... attended a college softball camp. We sat down, ordered our drinks and some cheesy garlic bread. All of that came out prettyfast. And it was good. Our waitress came by she refilled our drinks said our pizza was just about to come out of the oven andthat she was going to grab it and disappeared for awhile. After about 35 mins my daughter went to ask them to check on it. About5-10 minutes after that she brought them out. One pizza was completely wrong. She asked for no sausage but the pizza hadsausage. And this is the BEST part. None of the pizza was done. It was all doughy, gooey, and not edible. So we didn?t eatit: Asked for a manager. He took off one pizza, and then only took off a little bit because we ate a little of the other pizza!??????????? So we had to pay for pizza we didn?t eat. Ate a late lunch here recently. It?s a large space, dark and warm - lots wood with tall ceilings. Friendly service and good... food. Got the buffalo fries which were awesome - tasted great and were a bit crispy. One person could easily them - so I?drecommend getting two orders. Had a Stromboli which was really good. Didn?t look like a traditional Stromboli but tasted reallygood - had baked cheese on top and a really nice flavorful crust. Overall had a nice experience and would definitely eat hereagain. Read more
Top was cooked correctly. Bottom was soft with no char. Ruined the pizza. No flavor. Wings were some frozen Tyson type... breaded wings run thru the oven. At one time pretty good pizza and wings. Now it tastes and looks like frozen pizza. Read more
