For some context i manage a Brazilian steakhouse so i know meat and i know service and I've got to say colts DEFINITELY does... both very well. We were greeted by Stephanie who not only have us great description but also great recommendations. We orderedthe Philly cheese steak and the brisket with the baked beans and Mac and cheese with some french fries. Let me tell you ifyou've never had cheese steak with brisket, you haven't lived. Now their brisket was SOOOOO tender and just melts in your mouthand they have the most delicious BBQ sauces. Now I've had tomahawk, and wagyu meat so i know what tender flavorful best tasteslike but that brisket was JUST AWESOME. Honestly from the moment we stepped inside EVERYBODY was awesome. The nicest staff andthe best BBQ I've ever had but honestly the ppl and all the little things that they do is the reason why I'd drive over 100miles just to go to COLTS, in Prescott valley. Maybe I was just starving after mountain biking, but this brisket was tender and flavorful and delicious. The smoked Mac and... cheese was definitely made in bulk, but tasted really good! The house sauces were tasty as well! Would definitely recommend. Read more
Always amazing to eat at Colt. Drove up from Phoenix for lunch and we have never been disappointed. Wanted to head to New... location but figured why drive a bit longer when we could eat now. Place was clean, staff friendly and food was amazing. Beenworking through the menu each time we visit. Smoked bbq chicken sandwich and the Philly cheese steak were amazing.. and the barwas refreshing!! Read more
We were in the valley this weekend and this was definitely the highlight of the trip. The food was amazing - I recommend the... ?filly? cheesesteak sandwich! However, the service was what sold us! The bartender, Stephanie, was super friendly and went outof her way to make us feel welcome and taken care of. They even had comfortable outdoor seating with space heating for guestswith pets. A drive up from Phoenix to eat lunch at my daughter?s favorite BBQ place in Prescott Valley was enjoyable. The atmosphere is fun... with the decor, quaint next to the fireplace or could get rowdy at the bar. We highly recommend brisket, sweet potato fries, Macn cheese, peach cobbler! Read more
Second time we've eaten here and both times really great. FINALLY found a great BBQ place! First time, we got the filly salad,... large brisket plate & a grilled cheese brisket sandwich and they were all really good quality and taste. The second time we gota 1/2 chicken plate & a small brisket plate to go and so satisfied. I don't know what the rub was on the chicken but it was sod*mn tasty. Also you could taste the smoke (no liquid smoke here!) and the chicken meat was pink from sitting in the smoker.Yum! I recommend this place and bringing my folks next time. Read more
