Today was my second time here. The first time was bad and I vowed to never go back. That is until today and my wife, against my... better judgement, talked me into it. We decided we would split a full rack of ribs and a ribeye. The food, minus the bakedpotatoes, wasn?t even warm. We asked the steak be cooked to a medium temperature and the picture is what we got. Well done,dried out, tough steak. As we were paying the cashier asked how everything was and we told her about the steak as I was handingher a $50 she says, ?oh you had the ribeye?? Then proceeds to tell me she mixed up the tickets and that I actually owed $70? Ido want to end on a positive note and say the service was absolutely exceptional. Read more
The food was no better than eating at a fast food place but took almost 2 hours to get it. Then when its come my wife's ordered... was incorrect, it wasn't even what she ordered and by the time she got it everyone else was done eating. Then there was moreexcesses instead of the apologies that it should have been. With the prices we paid the food and service needs to be steppeddramatically. Very dissatisfied. Read more
The ambiance is fitting and very appropriate for a BBQ restaurant. The staff is very polite and attentive, coming by often to... ask about refills. I ordered the smoked meat sampler since I didn't know when I'd be here again. Fried okra as a side wasexcellent: great crunch and not slimy, good flavor in the batter. The meats, however, were pretty disappointing. The smokedchicken ranked the worst of the three (pork, brisket, chicken) with a lack of much smoke flavor or even typical BBQ seasoningsof any kind. The brisket was cooked properly, but again lacked any real flavor. The pulled pork had a bit more flavor to it,but still not enough that it didn't need a fair amount of sauce to make it desirable. And last, the sauces tasted a bit likethe first attempt to develop the sauces. Honey was VERY honey and not much else. Tangy was just a little tangy and not muchmore. Spicy had a tiny bit of spice like they were still figuring out how much spice it really needed. I would be very curiousto try the meats again if they use the same flavor profiles they started with but up the amount they're using quiteconsiderably. Read more

Absolutely delicious, it sucks I drove almost 2hrs away though. I live in South Point, OH and I wish I had one closer to home.... Friendly service, fast service, hot food! I wanna come back!! Yum! They smoke their meats in house! Read more
