The View & Brew was recommended to us by a local patron. Set in a quaint, charming old country house, service was friendly,... prompt and attentive. We both ordered the Stew & Dumplings and found the meal to be flavorless and inedible. We strolled over tothe ice-cream parlour and treated ourselves to ice-cream cones. Unfortunately, we can't recommend the View & Brew. Read more

Cute little restaurant located in a house setting. Food was absolutely delicious. The BLT sandwich was like no other I've ever... tasted. It was delicious and it came with a watermelon salad. The wait is longer than usual so don't get there hangry. Make sureto make reservations if you can. Read more

Delicious!! I have been for breakfast a few times, tonight we went for the Sunday meal. Roast Turkey with 8 different... vegetables, stuffing, homemade cranberries and carrot ginger soup. For $25 you have at least 2 meals. Reservations arerequired for the weekend suppers but they also do a togo option. I took the apple berry crisp home for later! It is 100% worththe drive. The views are amazing and the food is even better. Home cooked meals from a local business!! Check them out!! Read more

UPDATE- March 14, 2020: returned to View & Brew and had the beef tenderloin meal again and it was the same delicious food. We... made the trip to Calgary just to eat here again. The owner/chef is very friendly and amazing! I have attached updatedphotos. OLD REVIEW:Took a trip to Calgary just to try the food as I had seen the episode on you gotta eat here. Went to therestaurant three times, lunch, dinner and dinner the next day. If I could provide more than a 5 star rating I would! THE PLACE:Very nice, quiet, clean, small and cute restaurant. THE FOOD: homemade and heavenly! Great portion and price as well. THESERVICE: the staff was very friendly and I felt like family. WOULD I RETURN? Without a doubt! I don?t have any pictures of thedessert I had but I had the bistro brownie wth ice cream and whipped cream and it was to die for! A MUST TRY! Thank you Viewand Brew for a great weekend of delicious food! Read more

Discovered the View & Brew through Bill Corbett?s ?Day Trips From Calgary? after hiking at the nearby Cross Conservatory. It... was a fantastic experience! Past what appears to be a handful of residences is this delightful little bistro. I highlyrecommend the Meatloaf Sandwich! Will certainly return for breakfast. Read more

When I walked in I thought we were in someone's home, it really feels like a kitchen and living room with the knick knack decor... and the 80's dining table and chairs. However, we were happy with the excellent service, our order was prompt and the server wassincerely happy. My major issue was around the menu, they were out of everything except 4 items. Undeterred I ordered the hamand grilled cheese and it was scrumptious. The cheese was an old cheddar and it had baked ham which was moist juicy andappropriately thick. The bread was fresh and tasty and held up to the rich cheddar and ham. The side salad was simple with freshingredients but overdressed to my taste. The grilled cheese was so good I was disappointed I couldn't try a fullentrée. Overall a good spot and worth visiting. Read more
