A gem of a spot in the middle of the county. Come here for delicious food, lovely atmosphere, and great service. Both times... I’ve visited I’ve dined outside - and nothing beats the glow of the sunset and the lights that turn on once set. This timearound we were seated by the flowers, if you’re attentive you’ll spot the chef coming out and picking petals for the dishes.Two of us enjoyed the bread + butter, mozzarella & heirloom tomatoes, the side of corn alongside 2 plates of the steak andfrites (a touch too salty), and the basque cheesecake to round it all off. We came with an appetite but definitely left full!Chefs special is a must try if you’re up for an adventure and appreciate seafood. Be prepared to organize a mode oftransportation to get here unless you’re staying in Bloomfield. If driving there is plenty of parking out front. Read more
Lovely restaurant. Many of the meat dishes can be made gluten free, but they do not have any gf bread or buns. The oysters were... massive, and the cocktails were refreshing. The cheesecake is also gluten free ???? Read more
Blew me away. Best restaurant in the county. We didn't even make it to a main course because the starters were absolutely... surreal. Friendly and caring staff, great drinks and food will amaze you. Will return here every chance I get. 11/10 Read more
One of the best experiences I had in Prince Edward Island! We went for dinner and some drinks! Oh wow, it was amazing. Firstly... their cocktails were really good and the bartender was amazingly nice. Secondly the bread, wow, they make their own bread and alittle tip, we asked to buy some and they gave us a whole bread with a great price! You should definitely start getting youbread from there :) The amazing part was the food though, their steak was excellent! Especially compared to most steakhouses inToronto, this was my favorite! We tried the chef's menu, it was totally worth it. We had a chance to taste their special disheswithin the menu and the steak. Also, we loved their fresh Ceviche. The prices are normal for a nice restaurant. I highlyrecommend this place and I think this might be the only reason for me to go back to Prince Edward Island. My partner and I dined at Flame + Smith on Saturday for a belated birthday celebration. We ordered oysters as an appetizer and... we would recommend the French kiss as they were awesome. We ordered as our main the steak and were able to sub it with salad,and we also ordered the escargot and a side of fries. Everything was perfect, and the steak was perhaps the best steak that wehave ever had in our lives. We also ordered one non-alcoholic drink and one alcoholic drink and their gin and tonics were justperfect! We had a great waitress named Kim who guided us in our selections and the awesome manager of the restaurant gave usfabulous recommendations to go to after dinner. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. If you are ever coming to PrinceEdward County, I would highly recommend Flame + Smith Read more
The experience here is spectacular. It is one of those restaurants that while the food is great, the experience is what makes... it. If you feel adventurous, I highly recommend the chef's pick. Basically you just let the chef plan a 4 course meal for you.Not only is it a surprise for every course, I tried a lot of dishes I would've never ordered myself. The main menu is great toobut the chef's pick is truly a special experience. The service here is top notch. We had a dish that we didn't like from thechef's picks and we were totally ok knowing we tried something new and just didn't like it. However, the chef decided to send usa replacement plate without us asking or even expecting it! It's those little things that makes all the difference in a diningexperience. Ambience is great. The cost is on the higher end of dining but worth it for the splurge. I understand why everyonehighly recommends this place!! Read more

Excellent place for some steak and sides! We had some sourdough to start, dry aged steak, fries and corn. Everything tasted... awesome. Our service was also great and although one small hiccup (took a little bit for some sparkling water, which wasn’tan issue), the server took care of it very well without being asked at all. We loved the service, the food and the general vibeto the restaurant. Even when we first entered (no reservation), we were treated really well and the gentleman at the door tookcare of us quickly, and very friendly. Awesome stuff. Read more
