I wasn't nt expected to meet that good Chinese restaurant. They have westernized Chinese and also authentic Chinese too. Prawns... are plump and beef is tender. I like it. Did not disappoint. Huge portions. Neither of us could finish our meals! My partner wanted Chinese since we're never in the... city. I have a lot of food allergies so I never like going for Chinese but I was pretty stoked to see online that this place hada gluten free menu! Right on guys. Definitely raising the bar. Food is OK but not great. Prices are moderate and the store needs a renovation asap. The response the owner wrote was very much... genuine so I have updated this review to 5 stars as he/she has given some information into a possible renovation next year, thatis great news. Food was terrible . Prawns tasted off SOUR. Noodles were dry and bland. Salt was empty and asked for more but didn't receive.... Another customer arrived after us and received his order before us coffee was burnt. Jas the waitress was amazing . Great Chinese food in Prince George place also clean and staff are friendly they make sure we get more drinks

So we have been ordering from Fortune Palace for over 15 years, my family and my in laws combined, and overall their food has... been decent. Sometimes we would get our order with moldy vegetables in it, but we would bring this to their attention and theywould comp us a meal. Tonight however, parts of each of our meals (5 in total) were not edible. My honey garlic pork was so dry,it was almost like it was leftover from the day before. Same with the almond chicken. It was so dry, I spit it out the moment ithit my tongue. Sweet and sour pork and the noodles were also not up to par. We called to bring this to the manager/ownersattention (Jean) but it was almost pointless. I told her that every meal, parts of it were not edible, so the best she said shecould do was $30 off of our order. Our order was over $100. The owner argued with me, saying that I was the only one who hascomplained tonight and sometimes certain customers like the food a little crispy, even after I kept telling her it was NOTEDIBLE! Not too crispy! They were unwilling to send driver to our house to bring us a new order because we picked up the order,so she said she could redo the entire order for us, but I would have to bring in the bad order. Why do I have to bring in theorder? As an owner, she should have made every attempt to please the customer, not tell me that I was the only one who hascomplained that night. !!!!!! We paid for an item and they didnt deliver it and when we called to get our paid for item they refused!!!!! Hair in our... food and it arrived cold... brutal for $130 ???? Atrocious customer service!!!! We ordered sweet and sour pork and instead theybrought us sweet and sour sauce without the pork balls when we called and said we wanted the pork we ordered they refused to fixtheir mishap even though we had paid for it. Went here on August 28th. Ordered a small wonton and their #8 meal which included chicken chow mein, sweet & sour pork,... vegetable chop suey and deep fried prawns. The soup was hot and very good and the meal was served shortly after. Loved that thevegetables were crisp but the prawns had more breading then I like but were delicious. Read more
