I had an amazing time at the Makerie! The food and coffee was great and I had so much fun making a craft. The staff are so... wonderful, friendly and helpful! This is a beautiful local Cafe with excellent espresso and other hot beverages. I had a honey lavender latte today and it was... delicious. They also have treats and food made in house. There are gluten free options even. On top of being a wonderful cafethough, you can craft! You can use the studio space for a small fee to get creative, study or work. You can also do thepre-planned crafts to take something special home. I love exploring new cafes so i thought this is just a regular cafe but i was surprised to find a full fledge art and craft... studio with wifi service. There are different classes on the different days of the week which can be joined in studio by payinga fee. Paint class, craft class , pottery or any such activity needs to have an ambiance and this place is perfect match to it.You can even borrow from their stock of art supplies. Art lovers should flock this place and even if you are not an artist,just drop by to try your hand. Hard typing on type writer was fun for a while and then my fingers started hurting. ???? Its noteasy to type with those old typewriters but it was a fun experience. My favourite part was making my own letter head withstencils and stamps . So personalized? I even bought the wood roasted coffee-beans. Omg, its so so so good. If you are a bbqperson or someone who love woody flavour n fragrance then you will be drooling over it. Hot chocolate is great. Enjoy a cup ofcoffee /tea and use your computer or chat with friends or maybe enjoy your time. I would say visit it once and you will comeback again. The Makerie is the bee's knees! It's my wife's favorite place in the city, and I'm very fond of it also. The owner is such a... sweet and wonderful person, and all of the treats and drinks that I've tried have been soooo freaking good. I took my wife theretoday on a quick lunch date, because we somehow found ourselves without the kids for an hour, and we both had some delicious tealatté's , as well as a coconut cupcake. Their newly built patios are great for enjoying their treats in the sunshine, and ifyou have never been there, it's 100% worth the trip. PLUS! The name isn't just for show. They have a huge indoor space set upfor making arts and crafts of all different sorts and varieties and teach you how to make them also. If you can, go stop by andsupport them! ???? Read more
