Great place to get a ?home cooked? meal! DH had a Scoundrel Scramble $18 which was very tasty & generous & I enjoyed an... appetizer of Deep Fried Pickles $8. Coffee was very good & service was excellent considering they were very busy and like mostplaces after COVID, under-staffed. Read more

The food was good and served hot but that?s the end of the good news story. The service was very slow and not very attentive. It... took a few minutes to get seated which was understandable because there were only two servers on a Saturday morning who wereresponsible for cash, cleaning tables, taking orders, and serving. It took another 5 minutes or so to get our order taken andanother 20 minutes for the food to be delivered. That is probably the fault of the kitchen. After the food was delivered wenever saw our server again. Getting coffee refills was a chore. Asked for water twice; it never came. Other tables got theirorders before us even though we ordered first. Again a sign of a disorganized kitchen. We got the feeling that the locals gotmore attention and better service. My recommendation is try somewhere else for breakfast/brunch. Read more

Great food and service. Bit of a wait as its the only breakfast serving restaurant in town. Very friendly locals. Helpful and... honest. A family man and his daughter invited me to sit at there table as the place was full at 10 am. He had paid for mybreakfast as he checked out. Great guy. Thanks alot. Read more

Would love to say this place was mediocre.... But I would be lying. Pretty good food, really good service and an overall... entertaining venue for dinner. Don't let the greasy spoon exterior throw you, the food is much better than you expect. Goodportions, good quality! Value for money vs cost ratio.... 10/10. Definitely gets the Gladiator thumbs up! This one gets to liveanother day!! Sorry lions! Read more

We arrived early at 615 am. The waitress was very friendly and cheerful. She took our order immediately and t was out to us... within 10 to 15 minutes. We had the Loaded Omelet....awesome. very fresh ingredients and huge portion. Hash browns were tastyand not greasy. Choice of several types of toast. Highly recommend for travellers like us who wanted to eat fairly quickly andget back on the road. Read more

An excellent pit stop for real homemade classic Canadian / North American fare. Nice welcoming vibes and large place. Prices are... reasonable too. Especially impressed by their homemade soups. The scoop: Chicken Soup: delicious, it had real homestead"dumplings" in it too which were like lumps of cooked flour shaped together which were tasty Turkey Club sandwich: fresh breadand layered with toppings like bacon, tomato, and lettuce. Side salad was fresh too, no complaints. Cheeseburger: patty was abit dry and overcooked but otherwise the bun and topppings were good. Overall, it's kinda like a Denny's, but a bit betterbecause they offer real food options made from scratch and serve unique things other restaurants don't like chicken dumplingsoup. Read more
