Hands down. Favorite place to eat in Princeton. This place is incredibly popping super early in the morning. It is definitely... the place to be and the food is spectacular. Food was great service was slow 20 minutes to be seated 45 for food to be served. Watch your bill the menu said $2.00 to sub... fruit I did the bill came it showed $2.75we had no potatoes we should of gotten $1.00 off original bill. no discount. Super up set with this establishment. My mom drove an 1 1/2 to meet me at this restaurant for my daughter?s birthday. I called... and asked what their hours are. I called again to verify the hours and to make a reservation. They told me they would not take areservation and to walk in. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and were turned away. I had with me 3 small children. Ages 4and under. So not only is that difficult for me to load, unload, and deal with hungry upset kids the staff did not even carewhen I politely said I called twice. WOW!!! Lunch was awesome! Fish were big filets and the fries are crunchy on the outside soft on the inside. Old fashioned milk... shakes. Huge chef salad loaded with all the toppings. Staff were phenomenal. 5 stars. Only wish they were open later than2pm...then we could get there to eat more often. Great job Merlins. Keep up the great work! Read more
We (a party of 5) arrived to Merlins at 10:15 am and were seated at 10:50 am. This was Friday, September 3rd. It was busy and... there was a wait. We were seated by the coffee bar and the cushioned booth was smeared with butter on one side. We just didn?tsit on it. The friendly hostess took our coffee order about 2-3 minutes after being seated. Our waitress came at 11 am. One ofus ordered the Big Stack (four large pancakes) because he wanted to take on the food challenge and earn a picture on the walland t-shirt. He didn?t finish it though but we had fun watching him. The food was delicious and our waitress was friendly. Thecoffee bar was just amazing! Read more
The new dinner menu is great! You have to try the Truffle fries. So yummy! We tried 4 of the new entrees and enjoyed them all.... The pork chop and shrimp Po boy were favorites. And very friendly service made the meal top notch! Read more
