I love this place. I had forgotten about it for awhile, then recently went back and keep going. The outdoor patio is perfect... this time of year. They have some special cocktails too that go with the fall motif. Servings are usually big. So I'm alwaysgetting half my meal packed up. I had the eggplant parmesan last visit, and it was great. I think this is a great place to go if you're in Princeton because it's pretty reasonable and the food is good. I had an apple... cranberry mule cocktail which was delicious and the shrimp scampi had me wanting to lick my plate. The only reason I gave itfour stars instead of five is that some of my dinner companions' meat was not cooked to their liking. Otherwise, I'm happy to goto Metro-North whenever I'm in the area. Great restaurant with a variety of options. It has an old school Italian feel, and the appetizers were great. Highly recommend... the bang bang shrimp A++. Chicken wings were also flavorful and well done. Great value for a Princeton restaurant, both foodand alcohol. My old fashioned was delicious. We will be back for entres. Read more
would love to leave a great review because the staff were lovely and attentive, the restaurant was pretty. it has a great bar... area but the food was not good with the exception of the eggplant tower appetizer which was great. I had a tomato mozzarellaavocado salad and specifically asked if the tomatoes were red ripe Jersey tomatoes and they were not. clearly from Mexico orwherever tough to cut through. The stuffed pork chop was very over cooked and the flavor was terrible. maybe just a bad day forthe food .. Read more

We booked the private room upstairs at Metro North for our rehearsal dinner and we are so, so pleased with how the night went.... Whitney, our contact for the restaurant, was accommodating to all of our requests and we really appreciated that we were able tobring in outside dessert from our favorite bakery. The private room is a very, very cool space and most importantly, the foodwas delicious! We highly recommend Metro North for hosting any gathering. Read more
