We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. When we went at lunch time, the restaurant had only 3 other groups. But we... waited more than 25min because the kitchen was busy with take out orders. The food was just so so and the waitress was extremerude. I would not recommend this restaurant. Read more

I love Midori. The sushi is absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. When we want sushi we go there.

Tried this place for the second time, will not be going back ever again Placed an order for pickup and within 2 pieces of my... Amazing Roll I felt a scraping in my mouth and pulled out a staple. I've never found a staple in my food but there's a first foreverything I guess. Staples were found in all 3 Amazing rolls we ordered. Someone else I was eating with pulled a staple out oftheir Kani salad as well, which is unfortunate given the Kani salad is an appetizer and that's what we started with. Did noteat the rest of our order and when we called to let the restaurant know about it the 2nd guy over the phone was not having it(first girl to pick up didn't speak English very well, likely didn't understand our issue so she passed the phone). We'dordered 3 Amazing rolls and he was refusing to refund us for all 3, he kept insisting it was impossible to package 3 rolls into1 box when I'd never claimed they were packaged that way. I was not concerned with how the rolls were packaged, I was concernedwith the fact that there was STAPLES in our food. Best part is the guy didn't care about the staples, just about how it was"impossible" to package 3 Amazing rolls in 1 box! He even said "staples in your sushi? ma'am I think you have staples in yourhome!" Nice one buddy. Soon as I said could leave a review he got even more upset so I told him I'd settle for the refund of 2Amazing rolls. He kept saying he'd have to fire his chef, how it was impossible to package 3 Amazing rolls into 1 box, and aftertelling him I didn't think it'd be possible to find staples in my food he hung up. Special rolls aren't all that great anyway,hence the order of 3 of the same kind. Don't bother with this place because they clearly don't bother to ensure a safe andrespectable eating experience. I always feel bad writing negative reviews about small businesses, but I was extremely disappointed with the sushi from this... place. They put unripe avocado in a lot of the rolls, which made it inedible. I feel like I wasted 80 bucks by ordering fromthis place. They also overcharged me 16 bucks, because I'm assuming that the prices they listed online are incorrect. To behonest, I probably wouldn't give this place another shot. Read more

We ordered teriyaki chicken and OMG it was the worst - really hard and chewy chicken and flavor was odd. We had to throw away... in trash. Disappointing that the restaurant couldn?t make a simple teriyaki chicken ? and the price was $17 for a dinner entreeof this teriyaki chicken..will never go back again? I called and ordered a takeout order. My wife went there to pick up the order, they asked for the order phone number. My wife... gave them the phone number and order was not found. the staff member came back to her and confirmed the phone number and wroteit down on the paper. (still not found) In this process I went through what I ordered and they still couldn't find. They saidthey might have made a mistake and forgot to put the order in, so if we give them 10 minutes they can prepare our order. (Everyone does make mistakes, so i did understand) They called me 1 minute after and said they found the order. Here is thePROBLEM. Why they come to my wife and try to blame her for giving a wrong number. (SHE DIDN'T AND ORDER WAS UNDER MYNUMBER) She did give them the right number ( They wrote it down on the paper and she confirmed it) They were telling her " sinceyou gave us the wrong number it is not our fault". SHE GOT MAD AT THAT POINT AND TOLD THE STAFF MEMBER TO BRING THE PAPER THATSHE WROTE DOWN ON THE PAPER TO SEE IF MY WIFE REALLY DID GIVE THEM THE WRONG NUMBER. THEN SHE JUST SAY SORRY AND WALKEDAWAY.. I DO UNDERSTAND PEOPLE CAN MAKE MISTAKES AND I DID TRY TO UNDERSTAND UNTIL THEY TRY TO BLAME EVERYTHING ON MY WIFE. Read more

I called the day of Valentines's Day thinking I would try this restaurant for the first time. They accepted my reservation and I... was not sure if I wanted to go because it told me that no one made reservation on a busy day like that. I went anyway and it wasa pleasant surprise. I was able to be seated right away even though there were about 20 people waiting at the door. The placewas nicely decorated, simple but fine. The chairs are wide and comfortable and the table spacing is very wide, so you feelspacious. Even though it is a busy day, the waiters did not push us. They come right away once I call them to ask questions andare polite. The waiter also removed my plate promptly after I finish. The food was tasty. We had Oceanic Volcano Roll and theBlue Crab Fantastic Roll, spicy calamari, white tuna sashimi, salmon sashimi and a spider roll. They are all very good. The fishis fresh and delicious. The two premium rolls are also excellent. The price is average, not cheap, but not quite expensiveeither. Even the tea is not washed down tea. I would recommend people to come try for themselves. Not a big sushi eater but I had a good time at Midori Sushi. I came here with a large group and the staff was more than happy to... accommodate us. The hibachi dinner was enjoyable, though I would have liked more vegetables. The salad was good as was the misosoup. At the end of the night, the final bill was extremely reasonable, especially considering how much we ate. Oh, almostforgot, be sure to BYOB! Read more
