It was SUPER busy I think the whole town of Pringle was there (maybe even the whole county) but definitely worth the wait. My... husband had the catfish and he said it was the best he ever had, (I had a bite and agreed it was good and I don't like fish).I had a burger and it was definitely not from a frozen patty. Oh and we didn't try any of the dinner danglers but if that'syour thing I bet they're great! My husband was worried because We did leave the cash on the table. This is by far, the best catfish I've ever had! It's a cool little local hangout, but walking in off the road, they welcome you... right in. We're going to make sure that when we're out here, we'll make this a regular stop. Read more
We love their fish, chicken fried steak, the carrot cake, Chocolate. Cake are awesome. Staff are great, have been there several... time and I am sure we will go back. Read more
The food was really good. We had the prime rib and the all you can eat catfish . They were having a wedding reception so all our... family couldn't eat there because of no tables which was disappointing but understandable . We ate in the bar area with anothercouple. The waitress ( I think her name was LeAnn) was so Awesome !! Great Service Read more
Was surprised by this place, it sure looks a bit scary from the outside. The staff was nice and the food was tasty. Not the best... food in the world and wouldnt go out of my way to go there, but if you are hungry and driving by, why not? Got the chickensandwich and not much to say, it was a chicken sandwich. Best food I?ve had since Covid cutbacks and poor quality food supplies around this end of the state. Fresh hand breaded chicken... fried steak with pepper gravy, a fluffy baked potato and salad bar. Dessert was a wonderful chocolate fudge cake. Service wasvery friendly and happily accommodated my service dog. Food arrived quickly. Prices very reasonable for the amount of food. Wewill be back! Late afternoon started out with a drive along Argyle road with my wife & myself, then made the turn on the Hwy to Pringle... SD. When we arrived in Pringle was happy to see the hitchrail bar and restaurant was open as our hunger was kicking in. What anice place to step in and a warm smile to greet us, when the food came we noticed the quality was far better than other placessince covit cut backs, the chicken fried steak was so tender the fork was all you needed to cut and eat with. Oh my the ribswhere a treat since my last ribs some where else was dead on arrival, the ribs here was soft and tender and I made a mess withthe BBQ sauce all over my hands. Now the best part is the dessert and our wait staff Cypress V. New that the chocolate cake wasthe magic touch for the night, Wow thank you Cypress for being so attentive while the place was so busy. Best tasting prime rib I have had in a long time. Terrific salad bar. Bring a dollar with "words of wisdom or address" to put on... the ceiling to let people know you ate at this comfortable and friendly establishment! Read more
