As soon as you walk in I was greeted and put on the wait list. I waited about 15-20 minutes and by the time I was seated, the... wait time increased to 35-40 minutes. I was seated in Kenneth's section and he promptly took my drink order while another placedchips, salsa, and a bean dip. I ordered a small Chile con Queso and a large guacamole. We had the new Serrano Salmon and Nancy'sRub Eye. The fish was cooked to perfection and the steak my ideal temperature. The fish was served with seasonal vegetables andthe steak with plantains and green beans. Never had plantains before and really enjoyed them. Hot fudge brownie to finish itoff. Kenneth stayed up on drinks and we had Angela the manager checked on us. Bathrooms are very clean. Well done! Read more

Went here for lunch found raw ground beef mixed in my meat ordered the taco plate. Contacted manager once I got home to address... the issue. She argued with me that it could have been the season in the meat. I know the difference between season and raw meat.I Told her I was back working and she refused to issue me a refund. She is having me drive back once I get off of work to dropof the food. Very bad customer service and beans were watery as well. She refused for me to send her a picture so I wouldn?thave to spend gas or leave work to drive back to the location. This is the only Mexican restaurant near me in prosper. I amwaiting for either a micocina to open or just a different Mexican restaurant to open near by. I love Mexican food but will notgo back to this location. I will drive far out before I experience this again !!! Read more

It was nice weather so we wanted to be on a patio and this new location has a great one. I got the ceviche salad and my... boyfriend got the steak nachos. Both were excellent. I would also like to say what great service we had from a young lady nameJanelle. She was friendly, polite and when she found out it was my boyfriend's birthday she brought out the flan with thecandle on it. Kudos to this young lady doing such a great job at work while going to school and helping take care of herfamily. Read more

Food and drinks were Absolutely perfect. Waitress was a bit dry. No smile just looked like she was not happy to be working or... maybe had too many tables. Not sure... but this new location in prosper is definitely very nice and the food is on point. Wewill be back just won't get the same waitress. I'll definitely ask before being seated. Read more

Service was courteous, friendly, prompt and attentive. The atmosphere feels like you may be in a far away latin country. The... free chips, salsa and bean sauce were outstanding as well as the beef dishes. The jumbo shrimp dishes were not on the samelevel. Texas shrimp is usually world class. The jumbo here did not have that fresh, juicy feel but were still ok. Read more

We really wanted to love this place but it was just okay. The hostess was having a bad day and not very nice. She needs a vaca... asap. We waited 25mins for a table while we sat and watched 6-8 empty tables in front of us, smh. The brisket quesdillas weregreasy. More like a short rib of sorts? Tried the strawberry margaritas that everyone raves about and honestly don't understandthe hype. They weren't bad, jus meh. Our waitress was sweet, however she kept dipping her bracelet into our chips/salsa???? Nothank you. Lolzzzz Read more

I finally got to try the new Gloria's and Prosper tonight! I have been eagerly awaiting them opening. My friend and I went... around 6:45 on a Thursday, we were quoted 25 minutes and ended up probably waiting around 45. I was really disappointed thatthis location is so bland. The Gloria's off of 380 and McKinney is also pretty bland but had more flavor than this location forsure. As a designer, it always hurts my heart when restaurants go so safe and neutral. Truly not visually appealing at all. There are so many things that they could have done in the bar area and throughout the restaurant to make it more interesting, they definitely failed the mark on design, sad to say. Even the few art pieces were boring. The lighting was very low, Iappreciate the ambience but I can imagine that that is difficult for older clientele. We ordered a margarita, my friend askedfor no salt and was given salt anyway. The drinks are very strong, you can definitely taste the tequila in them. I'm not a hugeMargarita fan, but considering they did not have green beer for St Patrick's Day, I decided to give a margarita a go. They did aflavored rim on mine, that had a nice flavor. The bartenders were very friendly. It took a while for the server to stop by oncewe finally made it to our table, but he was friendly and had decent follow-up. They served the black bean dip and salsa withchips, great flavor. The restrooms were nicely done, I liked the sconces and doors, had a nice tailored touch. The pricing wasreasonable. We ordered tamales for an appetizer. They were definitely unique. It was potato and chicken and was wrapped in abanana leaf. My friend really enjoyed them but I thought they were a bit mushy, I'm used to the masa being firmer. My friendordered the flautas and I ordered the combination plate. We both really enjoyed our meals. The patio had a pop of color withthe neon light, which I appreciated. They also had varying heights of light drums for some visual interest. Read more
