My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at the Olive Garden in Prosper on Saturday, Oct. 5th 2022. The restaurant was... extremely clean and our waiter, Angel, was prompt, courteous and absolutely raised the bar overall on customer service. He wasimpeccably groomed--even his uniform appeared to be ironed!! We asked to see the manager to express our gratitude and were toldthat Angel was a loaner--borrowed from another store. I had the chicken and shrimp Carbone I’m sure I misspelled that and my husband had the chicken Parmesan we also had an... appetizer that I forgot to take a picture because we dug into it lol the only difference in mine I put mine over broccoli versusspaghetti noodles and it was fabulous give it a try save some calories and it made three meals for me! Bar service was great. Izzy was kind, conversational, and took care of me. A group of servers came by and got really loud at... the end of the bar, so I moved but Izzy was great about letting them know and switching me. The server who started serving mewas also kind, the right kind of attentive, and offered good suggestions on the menu. I got so comfortable and didn't realizethe time had passed for the restaurant to close. A manager came by and nicely told me they had been closed and asked if therewas anything else he could do for me. I had already packed up, but was hanging out a few more minutes. I quickly gathered mythings thanked them several times and left. I was truly in my own world and content. First thing I noticed was how nice and clean the restaurant was. I was seated right away, Ronnie was my waiter, he did a great... job, good eye-to-eye contact, he listened, and service was exceptional. First time at Olive Garden I had a waiter ask me if hewanted me to hold dinner so I can finish my salad, that was a big plus for me. Food was great but I hope I get Ronnie again mynext visit. I have had better service, I am hopeful that it is a reflection of the broader employment shortages in general. The staff that... was there was nice. We came in with a larger party, but the wait was only about 30 to 45 minutes. The menus are now printed ondisposable, thin sheets of colored paper. That's a little new for me. I love the environment and ambiance of this location; thedecorations are pretty cool. I will return and provide more feedback when I do. I am not sure how popular the video game DinerDash is anymore, but I feel an employee training program at a table service establishment should incorporate x-number of hourson Diner Dash. The idea is thatbwhile ine table is getting drinks, anothe the bill, while one just got food delivered, at thesame time a new table was sat, it can be managed without neglecting a table for 15 minutes. Olive Garden is always fun family time. Prosper location is one of the new addition to their chain, and this was our maiden... visit. The ambiance inside was a pleasant surprise as this prosper location boasts modern look and fill. Our meal wassumptuous and staff service excellent.
