First time eating here. 3 stars because being from Southern CA, moved to the East coast 8 months ago, I was super excited to... see enchiladas. More excited for the enchilada burrito (wet burrito). Ordered the seafood burrito which was under the enchiladaburrito section, but couldn't have it that way...why? Your only putting enchilada sauce and cheese on top. Server suggestedsteak and shrimp ????. Food came out, looked and smelled good. Disappointed as I got a closer look at the "enchilada sauce".Basically spaghetti sauce. Hot sauce help cover the taste as it was very off putting. Inside of burrito was really yummy. Ifyour going to call your restaurant California Taco then the owners should know how enchilada sauce taste. Read more

Don't get confused, California taco shop's OTHER locations are delicious. This is the only one I been to that's very bad... (Plainfield st). Order was 100% wrong, food always taste like it was cooked on a dirty grill or something with old ingredients.Visit the other locations (Manton Ave near by is delicious) Read more
