Nice restaurant in a different part of town, but not far from downtown Providence. Calamari was excellent, different from usual... since it’s pan fried. Drinks were really good, especially the French martini with chambord and the lychee martini. Food wasalso excellent, with very generous servings. After a delicious dinner make sure to save room for dessert, the chocolate moussecake and the warm chocolate chip cookie were delectable! Read more
Amazing food from a variety of cuisines. The interior is cozy, but not cramped and has an intimate feel to it - making CAV a... great restaurant for dates or family dinners. Staff was attentive and very informed and cautious about food sensitivities. Read more
Went there for a nice dinner with family. Boy was this place busy. The atmosphere was pretty interesting. Imagine African art,... meets Turkey with Egyptian design elements and a little bit o France. Staff was super friendly. The waiter we had was funnyspent time with you at your table and didn’t rush you. He also made some amazing food recommendations. The door we had wasflavorful, tasty and the portions were perfect. You didn’t go hungry, but also didn’t leave food behind. Definitely goingback when it’s warmer out. Read more

Meh. Here's the deal, the place is super cool and eclectic. The decor is like eating in an antique store. Well done. The staff... was kind and helpful. The food LOOKS beautiful but every plate at the table has something off about it. Mussels, half wereopen/cooked. Truffle ravioli, the veggies were under-done. Salads, radicchio was just weird. Chicken, was slightly pink inmiddle. Scallops were under cooked and shrimp was way over done into hockey pucks. So, looks pretty, has potential, but Iencourage them to practice a little more ???? My bridal shower was seriously a fairy tale. The peace and serenity you feel when you enter this event space is breath taking... and is something I’ll never forget. This was probably one of the most magical days of my life. From the decor, the food, andour waiter jason, this experience was nothing less than perfection. The space is unique, and so beautiful. Jason went above andbeyond for my family and friends and made us truly feel at home. He is insanely creative and talented and worked so hard to giveus the best experience possible. The space was already decorated and set up which definitely took the stress off of my maid ofhonor & I. The decor included antiques from different places in the world, and felt so authentic. I was seriously amazed andfelt so peaceful. The space is filled with positive vibes. I would HIGHLY recommend the Cav. If you’re considering this placefor your special event, seriously don’t look any further. If I could relive this day 10 more times I would. Our first time visiting this restaurant, but have heard great over the years. It did not disappoint! Eclectic, interesting decor... with excellent dishes. The presentation was equally as good as the actual dishes which were all delicious! We will be back!! Read more
