The food was good except we found a longest hair stuck in between the meat. It could be a minor issue but we were so shocked... that after explaining to the server, he just took away the meat with a napkin (with a hair hanging) and ask us to continueeating. Eventually we did ask for a exchange of the pot but the lost our appetite. To be fair the food was tasty and I like thepresentation. Just can?t imagine how the hygiene situation in their back kitchen. Read more

Was trying to find something to eat and found this cute place in downtown providence. The food was decent. their kimchi beef... fried rice is my favorite from their menu. Tasty. My second choice will be soft tofu soup. Reasonable price for korean food. Read more

Amazing food and friendly service. The dumplings were superb and our entrees (fiery chicken noodle dish + seafood soybean stew)... made for one of the best dinners we have had in a while! Would also highly recommend the makgeolli & matcha drinks. Read more

Atmosphere: 3 I love the industrial decor with the exposed brick and metal. The music is a bit loud though. I don't know what... they use to clean, but the floors, tray, menu sign, and table were all sticky! It was pretty unpleasant. The floor wasespecially sticky. So much so that my shoe (slip on) nearly came off when going to the bathroom!! Portion: 5 Portion is morethan enough. Love that the lunch special also comes with side dishes. The soup is huge with an abundance of dumplings. Flavors:4 The dumpling soup broth is super flavorful and rich. It was delicious!! The dumplings however could be better. Most of themwere broken, and the skin is a bit soft. The side dishes were ok... where's the kimchi?? Overall, it was a decent Koreanrestaurant, and I'm glad to have tried it. It's a short distance from my hotel. Great location! Read more

It was fine. Our waitress was super kind and wonderful, and she's the reason I'm giving 3 stars and not 2. The food quantity was... good for the price but was a bit sugary. But the real reason for the low rating is we got originally seated in a booth at theback which was nice because it was busy and the booth blocked a lot of sound so it was easier for the 4 of us to talk. But a fewminutes after placing our orders one of the workers (not our waitress, later when asked she didn't know why we needed to getmoved) asked us to move to accommodate other guests. So we were moved to a middle table where it was louder and harder to talk. And here's the thing, I know this seems silly. And if a party of 5-6 people had come in and they needed the booth to fit themall that would have been fine. But they just seated two people there, and it just felt weird to get moved so two people couldsit in our spot when a two person table opened up five minutes after we moved. Read more

I was visiting the town and happened to randomly walk by. But it was a pleasant surprise as the food was authentic and good. I... especially liked their kimchi stew, but the others were also good and the food presentation was also neat. Highly recommend. Read more

The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is very nice ???? however I'll have to dock some stars for service and... inconsistency in cooking at times. I've come here a couple of times now and each time, while the tastiness of the dishes blewme away, it feels like there's never enough waitress/waitor. After we're seated (after a 30 minute wait-list), it took another15-20 minutes for someone to even come talk to us. Things are constantly running out (if you want ginseng chicken you bettercome early I guess). And today my friend's tofu stew wasn't hot enough to cook the egg (the whites were completely stilltransparent) Again, the food is amazing but I would just recommend to come earlier than 6pm if you want a nicer experience. Love the vibe, love the aesthetic, love the music, love the food. Such a great experience here at Mokban. The staff is nice and... the food is insanely delicious. One hundred recommend the bibimbap, specially the beef and in a stone bowl. We also had themokban ramen which was really tasty. Would absolutely come back! Now for my standard COVID comments as of April 2022. All staffmembers are wearing masks and the seating is relatively spread out. Felt completely comfortable with eating indoors. Read more
